Charming 3-bedroom house with AC and WiFi in Granbury with a beautiful lake view

This house is a culmination of my a retired mother and elementary church school teacher, and loving daughters family and sister, and finally myself. I have always enjoyed visiting other peoples homes, but Granbury was a town I continued to return to over and over again multiple times a year. As a man starting over and looking to do things better the second half of my life, I decided to set some new goals and this is one of them. This house was a huge answer to prayer after looking in the Granbury area for 10 months and literally checked all the boxes we were looking for. We have put a lot of work into it so far, but so much is yet to be done. Eventually there will be a secret passage into the actual speakeasy area. A hot tub delivering this fall, want to convert the shed to a man cave / outdoor kitchen, and ultimately fix up the area down on the water to be a place where you can walk down lake level and throw a fishing line in, while listening to a waterfall trickle down behind you. This is my first experience doing anything like this so I hope you will be patient with me and follow us as we strive to create an amazing interactive vacation rental experience.

It is tucked away and extremely quiet. The fact that it is a five minute walk from Stumpy's, my favorite marina in Granbury, or rent a boat and jet ski's right there. You can drop your own boat in Rough Creek Park just 1000 yards from the front door. With a five minute drive you can be shopping at major store chains, or better yet, be in the heart of Old Town Granbury and walk their beautiful square. The shops, dining, adult libations, and people make this area such a wonderful place. In 15 minutes you can visit Sledge Distillary in Tolar, a hidden gem, or drive in the opposite direction and visit Revolver Brewery on Saturdays between noon and 5pm. And in 30 minutes you can be in Glen Rose where there are several parks, including one of my favorites, Fossil Rim where you can see all kinds of wind animals. You can even feed them from your hand as you drive through the park. For those folks out there that like to golf, you are 10 minutes away from three different courses.

As we continue to update the property we are working on making it a fun interactive property where there will be different riddles, as well as partnering with local businesses to feature the amazing community we are surrounded by. Including featuring local artists, restaurants and bars that compliment the vision we are building. "A Speakeasy with a Lakeside View".
