Makahuena Resort is perched on a rocky point above the ocean in Poipu. This unit has ocean views and access to the pool, tennis courts, hot tub and BBQs. The property is within an 8-10 minute walk to the beach.

This unit is in a great location with a beautiful view. It nicely accommodates a family with 3 adults and 2 young children.It is close to beaches, shopping and restaurants. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The air conditioning system is not working well and the one in the master bedroom was unusable. The shower in the master bathroom leaks as the shower door trim needs to be replaced. The check in/out process is easy.

Ideal location and perfect setup for a family of four. Lots of great additions like beach chairs, beach toys, cooler, beach umbrella. Management company was great to work with. Setup of the space was perfect. Kids loved the pool being right outside. Watched whales from the lanai. Amazing!

The condo was super clean. Kitchen has all the needs. And the shared living space was comfortable and spacious. I loved the sliding doors opened wide, being able to see the ocean from the deck, and listening to the waves at night.

Comfortable and quiet bedrooms, great location! We had a couple issues, but property manager addressed them promptly. Pool was a nice temp and our kids liked that it was deep enough for diving.

Aloha, Thank you for your review. Housekeeping was mopping the floor while we were inspected the unit prior to arrival. Given the fact the doors are open to move in luggage and groceries, it is not unusual for the wind to bring in dust, etc. Please note we keep a Swifter in the unit so you can keep the floor up to standard. Really enjoyed our time! The place was as advertised. Excellent view and the facilities were nice. Pool, jacuzzi, bbq etc. all excellent and clean. Even got some tennis in. I would rent again in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very roomy for our family of 6. Well stocked for the vacation - beach chairs and towels, bathroom accessories, kitchen with all kinds of appliances. Easy to relax and great location to go for long walks or to take off and explore Kauai.
