The house, the dock, the lake, the view and the hosts all make this place a 5 Star place! We rented a boat and tubed, went knee-boarding , fished and road to dinner on it. There was still about 8 feet of water right under the dock with about a 6 foot drop off the dock which the grandkids loved. I would guess each of the four grandkids jumped off about 30 times a day. Absolutely a great place. All 10 of us loved it!

It was a beautiful house that fit all 18 of us just perfectly. The dock area was the best. We had a gorgeous day of swimming, kayaking and lounging. Lots of areas in the house to relax and the kitchen was spectacular!

If you are looking for a home to rent at SML, then stop right here. Over the years, we have rented several homes at SML. We highly recommend this property. The owners go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. This home is absolutely beautiful and the views are stunning…Book it - you will not be disappointed.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about both the home and the hosts. From the moment we booked, the hosts were exceptional—quick to respond, thoughtful, and so helpful as we prepared for our wedding. The property itself is stunning and was the perfect setting for our family stay and our intimate ceremony. Our wedding day was everything we hoped for, and this home was a major reason why. We are beyond grateful and would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful wedding weekend

Our time at the house was amazing. Booking and communication with Jason and Shayla was easy and they were very helpful with questions that randomly popped up during our stay. We had family and friends all stay at the house for our wedding weekend and it was perfect!

I rented this house to spend time with our parents/family on the water. It is a beautiful house, very well laid out with plenty of space and things to do. It has all the accommodations and amenities you would ever need. The house was stylishly modern as well as the furniture and décor. I REALLY appreciate the TWO side by side, extra-large refrigerator/freezers in the kitchen. It has two dishwashers as well. We love to fish and caught some really nice bass off the boat we rented and a variety of smaller fish off the dock. We did see some nice sized bass pass by the dock on several occasions, and jumping out of the water, we just didn’t catch them off the dock. Although the lake is experiencing lower water levels of about 5-6 feet this year, there was still about 8 feet of water at the dock, so you can still fish, swim, boat, jet ski or canoe/kayak. The water level wasn’t an issue at all. The house had the best pier in our view, very spacious with plenty of comfortable seating, tables and hammocks/swings. Even if it rains you can still sit on the dock because a good portion of it was covered. I liked that getting to the dock didn’t involve so many steps that our elderly parents couldn’t get up and down them….some house on the lake are like that. The dock house is stocked with everything you would need for water activity, including floaties, boats and canoes. We would definitely stay here again, our family had an amazing time! The host was very responsive and readily available.

Family vacation

The house was beautiful and well-equipped for all of our needs. Everything was clean, the kitchen was fully stocked and the hosts were helpful and communicative. The view was gorgeous and the dock was also fully stocked. We appreciated the use of the boat lift and all the various chairs and hammocks. Awesome experience!

The property was excellent and even better than advertised! The house was great with more than enough room for everyone. We spent a lot of time enjoying hanging out on the large dock with great access for watersports. The view from the dock and the house are unmatched on the lake!Our host, Jason, was great and made our stay care free with easy check in and check out. The house was well appointed with everything we needed to have a great time. We will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful home that is spacious and well supplied, organized, and very clean. The kitchen (which is fantastic), and dining room have a panoramic view of the lake, which we enjoyed so much. The dock, hot tub, living rooms, and decks provide loads of room to spread out so everyone in my family could enjoy themselves with lots of options for different activities. We all had a splendid week at this lovely home!

A space to breathe

House was clean, well appointed and felt newly renovated. All spaces were fresh and there are beautiful views from nearly every room. All the guests said they would highly rate the house, rooms and amenities. Thank you for an excellent stay. We discovered Sand and Fog candles thanks to you.

What a great time!

My family and friends stayed at the house over Labor Day weekend and week. Hosts made the stay fabulous. Very responsive when deciding to stay at this property answering questions, etc... and every detail of the house made it feel welcoming. House is GORGEOUS and well kept (thank you for the snacks and wine) but I have to say the dock, views, fun on the lake makes this place the gem that it is! Highly recommend you book this house - thank you again for a memorable vacation and we will look at re-booking for next year!

Family Fun Fest

Wonderful together time with and between four generations. The house was ideal for our large group. It allowed us to all be together with the open floor plan, but also smaller, quieter spaces were utilized. Cousins and their parents bonded while playing games. Despite some inclement weather, we were able to spend some time outdoors and under cover on the dock and in the hot tub, with great views of the lake. Jason and Shayla were outstanding hosts, providing a warm holiday atmosphere for our enjoyment.

Lake Beauty!

We had a great time at this house! There was plenty or room for the whole family. The house was well equipped and decor was beautiful. Host was quick to respond to any questions and was very easy to work with. The wine and snacks were a nice treat! The location was perfect with stunning views of the lake. The dock is awesome! We spent all day there enjoying the sun and listening to the built in sound system. We enjoyed it so much we didn't want to leave. I highly recommend this house! We'd go back! with.
