Cute, clean, cozy, and conveniently located to nearby University and downtown restaurants and shops. We recently stayed here to move in our student at SUU. We enjoyed our stay here!

Clean and Comfortable!

We enjoyed our 3-day stay! The apartment was very clean and the spaces were comfortable and well designed. Helen was great at communicating, and she quickly responded to questions. My teenage daughter and I stayed here while attending the Shakespeare Festival, and it was about a 15 minute walk at a comfortable pace, factoring in traffic lights. The neighborhood felt safe, even walking back at 11pm.

Review for families with littles: Very clean and everything labeled. No-shoe house. Bedrooms are a nice size and the design and decor is lovely.🪴 The recessed closet in the larger bedroom was just right for a PnP for our 2 month baby, and we put up the other PnP in the second bedroom for our toddler. Super easy checkin and checkout process. Spent most of our time was in town and up at Duck Creak. Both are lovely. Coffee and at the Grind was great! The town has a farmers market on Saturday and many family friendly events. There are several playgrounds that our toddler enjoyed, especially Coal Creak Trail Parkrun (bring swim gear and small inner tube).Notes on things that were difficult: Steep stairs, our 2 year old wanted to climb up them all the time, so you’d need a baby gate. We had to put the guest books/pen/remotes/ceramic planters out of reach. Kitchen/bathroom cabinets: easy toddler access. We moved a couple of items up for safety, like the can opener, fire extinguisher, and dishwasher pods. Keep the bathroom closed. Games in the living room were put in the laundry room for their own protection. Beds are firm, so we had a little bit of trouble sleeping, but otherwise fine. There was a minor smell in the kitchen, we opened the window and it cleared up. We let the landlady know so she could have it checked. A bottlebrush would have been good to have in the kitchen as well, since we had baby bottles/bottle parts to clean. Altogether a pretty good experience!

Thank you so much for the thoughtful and detailed review! I’m glad your family found the apartment clean, comfortable, and easy to settle into, and that the bedroom layout worked well for the Pack ’n Plays. I also really appreciate the helpful notes for families with little ones. We’ll take a closer look at adding a baby gate, bottle brush, and making a few small adjustments to make the space even easier for parents traveling with young children. Thank you again for staying with us, and we’d be happy to host you anytime you’re back in Cedar City!

Easy access to all the main activities in town. You could walk to mostly anywhere you want to go. For being a basement apartment, the light was abundant.Having a full kitchen can't be beat.

Hi, I'm Helen, founder of Settle In Stays. I'm a designer by trade with a passion for interior design, travel, and creating spaces that feel comfortable, beautiful, and easy to settle into.

I've put a lot of care into every detail of this Cedar City home so guests can relax after a day of exploring Southern Utah or enjoying the Utah Shakespeare Festival. Although I live in Las Vegas, I have trusted local support nearby if anything comes up during your stay.

I'm always happy to share local recommendations or answer any questions. I hope you enjoy your stay!

Why they chose this property

I love Cedar City’s slower pace, quiet mornings, bike-friendly streets, nearby hikes, and beautiful views. The neighborhood feels peaceful and tucked away, yet shops and restaurants are just a two-minute drive away. You can also walk to the Shakespeare Festival or use the home as a basecamp for the national parks.

What makes this property unique

It's in a sweet nostalgic neighborhood. If you're lucky you'll see my neighbor's chicken walking by.
