Beach Tomatoes is a stunning Outer Banks vacation home just waiting for you and your family. Located in section “J” of Ocean Sands, this beautiful and roomy OBX vacation home easily accommodates a family of 10 and features a private pool, hot tub and a recreation room for hours of enjoyment.

Enjoy flat screen TVs in all rooms. This house is convenient to shopping, golf, dining and historic attraction such as the Whalehead Club and the Corolla Lighthouse. The wild horses of Corolla are just minutes away along with exceptional water sports, movie theater and pampering spas.

New in 2024- Brand new carpeting and flooring, new bedroom furniture, newly renovated kitchen, and new exterior and interior paint.

Great stay!

This house was perfect for our group of 8 adults and 1 dog. House was clean and nicely furnished. Nice outdoor space and the pool and hot tub were just what we needed. About a nice 10-12 min walk to beach. Great location, close to shopping and other attractions.

Family Vacation Fun at Beach Tomatoes

We enjoyed our stay! The pool was fantastic and the house was perfect. Corolla is a bit crowded but a lot of fun!

Family vacation

House was fine but beach access had no public parking or bathroom. We had to unload family and beach stuff at access to public beach then drive car back to rental and walk three blocks to get back on beach then repeat the walk and pick up process. The person walking to get car had three blocks each way.

Very pleased

Over all please with our options of kitchen and the extra refrigerator downstairs. The pool was great loved having a place to sit and cool off on both ends 😎. It could us a additional parking space.

The beds were not very comfy but the house was clean and the pool was great. No laundry basket so that made carrying laundry up all the stairs more difficult but all in all a great house.

Our first time in OBx was very pleasant. We had no complaints with the house. It satisfied our needs perfect. There was a small issue with the pricing through VRBO and the rental agency but it was quickly rectified. Being new to Obx we weren’t familiar with anything. It took us a couple days to adjust to the beach travel. We now know what we need to do for future stays. The rental company was easy to work with. The girls that work there are very nice and helpful. We would definitely rent this house again. Thank you for letting us stay. We had a wonderful time

Beach Tomatoes review

Overall the house was good. Rooms were somewhat smaller than described/pictured. House had been readied from the previous rental but not thoroughly cleaned. Floors had not been mopped and one tub/shower was clogged. All things that were easily handled but when paying that much money, expectation is property would be ready/cleaned for next group. Pool was a nice feature.

Beach Tomatoes Stay

House was nice with new renovations such as bathrooms, kitchen, flooring, carpeting, furniture and new Hot Tub and gas grill. Pots and pans were new and nice but not large enough to cook any large amount of food at once. The WORST thing about the kitchen was the coffee maker didn't work!! We had to go out every morning to find coffee! The pool was an issue, I chose a house with a pool and paid more money for this and couldn't use it. The pump only ran about 3-1/2 days of the 7 that we were there. It was dirty and cloudy most of the time and didn't know if it was chlorinated or not. I called Carolina Shores that Sunday morning and we never seen anyone nor the problem corrected. The WALK to the beach was a bit more than anticipated. The walk of 10 minutes was at a fast pace. To far if you had to return to the house to use the restroom. The path around the pond seemed to make it shorter if you didn't come across any snakes! Overall, the house was nice minus these two issues and the "WALK" to the beach and that would determine if we would stay here again. Thank you!

Short 10 minute walk around beautiful pond to the beach! Maintenance department responded same day when our glass table by the pool exploded from the heat. We traveled with 2 kids age 9, and 10 and our dog Cookie. Will definitely e back next year!

Quiet stay in Corolla

This is the second time we have stayed in this neighborhood. It's a quiet, family and dog friendly neighborhood. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. The house was perfect for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. Kitchen was well stocked and we cooked in for most meals. Beds were comfortable. The pool area was nice with plenty of chairs. The balcony overlooking the pool area was nice and shaded. It's about a 10 minute walk to the beach and was through the neighborhood. Not a bad walk at all! Would definitely consider staying here again.

Reviewer Comments: Carolina Shores was great in response to questions/concerns. This house is adequate but could use a GOOD cleaning and TLC. I stayed for a month and enjoyed the location. It takes about 8 minutes to walk to the beach and there is a small lake a block away with a nice trail around it for dog walking. The rail also makes a quicker walk to the beach but is grass so if you have strollers etc., the road is better. The pool and hot tub are nice but the jets were not working during my stay. If you are looking for a place to crash, eat, and sleep, it works. If you are after hotel clean and well decorated, not so much. I would stay here again if I knew it was clean and better cared for.

I had to clean and sanitize everything the same day we arrived. There were so many cobwebs, dead insects, crumbs on floor counters and under cafe table when moved, moldy shower curtain, etc. I expected the property to be somewhat clean, but was in horrible condition. House needs some updating/renovations.
