**THE RETREAT PROPERTY**
Situated on Mimosa Street, named for "The Tree of Happiness," Boho Mountain Cottage is set off the road with a long graveled driveway and a spacious front yard. There is a private graveled parking area (4 cars max). As you step onto the property, you'll be greeted by the serene ambiance of the surrounding woods and the inviting charm of the cottage. The lush greenery and towering trees provide seclusion and tranquility.
Entering through the front door, Guests are welcomed into the front sunroom porch that has glass and screened windows, a beautiful hardwood floor and 2 ceiling fans. There is a gorgeous farmhouse table that seats 8 for an experience of outdoor dining with all of the views through the glass! On the other side of the front sunroom, there is a cozy reading nook with a twin size comfy mattress. Probably the guest-favorite highlight of the home, you will enjoy reading your favorite novel here! Or take a long nap and unwind while connecting with nature :)
Upon entering through the yellow door, you'll find yourself in the main living area of the home, tastefully decorated with comfortable furnishings, antiques and colorful boho accessories. Stay cozy on cool mornings near the beautiful stone gas fireplace. There is a split unit in the wall/window that heats and cools. Large windows flood the space with natural light, offering picturesque views of the surrounding landscape. Adorned with comfortable seating, this space creates another great place to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails. Next to the main living area, there is a dining area with an adorable

They also feature storage space for your belongings and windows that allow you to wake up to the beauty of nature. The open bunk room is tastefully decorated with a playful theme and equipped with 4 bunk beds. There is a split unit in the wall/window of the bunk room that heats and cools. There is a smart TV and fast Wi-Fi for streaming your favorite subscribed channels, so this room is perfect for a fun family movie night after a full day of adventure. Each room has a ceiling fan.

Sweet 16th Stay
This was the perfect cottage to celebrate my daughter's Sweet 16th birthday! We had family and friends here for a relaxing weekend, and everyone loved it! So cozy and we all thought the decor was so cute! Everything was well stocked, comfy beds, plenty of room for all. We really used the front porch a lot for meals, playing games, relaxing on the day bed, and enjoying the sunroom setting.

Restful retreat!
The cottage was extremely clean and was exactly as pictured online...very cozy and vintage. Misti was responsive to any question we had and was a great host! It was nice to have a yard to play in with the kids and the bunk beds were perfect for my girls. The cottage is close enough to Fort Payne and Mentone that you can go back and forth within a day as needed.

I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway and a host who is communicative and responsive.
This enchanting BoHo cottage, with its vintage decor and elegant ambiance, evokes the charm of the classic film 'On Golden Pond' starring Catherine Hepburn and Henry Fonda. Upon arrival, guests are treated to a plethora of amenities, including modern appliances, hardwood floors throughout, a vintage cast-iron sunken tub, a second bathroom with a tub/shower combination, an on-site washer and dryer, and two exquisite sitting sunrooms. The outdoor space is equally impressive, featuring a fire pit surrounded by bamboo and an array of hardwood trees, including red and white oak. The property's location offers stunning sunrises, and the neighbors are friendly and approachable, often walking their dogs and striking up conversations.
The home was exceptionally clean, quiet, and peaceful, with a welcoming atmosphere, and pet-friendly. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway and a host who is communicative and responsive.

Excellent time spent with friends in a quaint comfortable cottage!
It was a perfect location and living space to share a few days with old college friends. The living area is very comfortable and decorated like my grandmother's home. Very artistic and homey feel. As older couples we appreciated the location. Short trips for dining and mountain lookouts. The area is beautiful and nature is everywhere. The cottage is well appointed and well stocked. Be confident in selecting this wonderful property!

Highly recommend!
The perfect place to take our family of four (five if you count Macy, our dog) for a relaxing fall-break vacation. The kids loved having their own bunk bed. The sunrooms were so cozy, and the firepit area is well kept. The cottage is in a great area convenient for Mentone or even Chattanooga activities.
Misti is a great informative host. You receive efficient and timely communication/reminder e-mails with ground rules and check-out information. I literally had no questions as she provided all needed info before hand. We loved our little "goodies" left on the kitchen counter.
We highly recommend staying at the "Boho Mountain Cottage," and would love to stay here again! 5-stars for communication, cleanliness, plenty of space, convenient location, and flexible/easy check-in.

Relaxing Weekend at Boho Mountain Cottage
We enjoyed the most relaxing weekend at Boho Mountain Cottage. Just a few minutes from Mentone, the cottage is nestled in the sweet Cloudland Community. The cottage itself is precious with comfortable beds, a bunk room for the kids, a well stocked kitchen, a large front porch with a dining room table that seats eight and a daybed for napping or reading a good book, and a back porch perfect for a quiet cup of tea. The cottage is the cleanest rental I've stayed at and communication was top notch. The cottage has a magical vibe that brings you back to childhood. The kids caught fireflies and played wiffle ball in the large front yard. Boho Mountain Cottage is a tucked away gem just minutes from the magic of Mentone.

Family Spring Break
The cottage was very well decorated, and the yard has pretty landscaping. The kitchen was well stocked. The rental company leaves a nice welcome basket and is very responsive to any questions or concerns. We thoroughly enjoyed the coffee and locally made soap. We enjoyed hiking in Desoto falls park and appreciated being able to bring along the family pets. The sun porch daybed makes for a relaxing napping spot. The only negatives were the mattresses were too firm for our liking, and the tub/shower water was lukewarm. We still enjoyed our stay and would recommend this rental to others.

Peaceful and relaxing.
Our goal for a weekend get away was to be able to relax and renew our mind, and wow, this is a true relaxing atmosphere! From the moment we stepped in the yard it brought back memories of time spent sitting outside with a good book or laughing with loved ones. The feeling of being in a loving, relaxing place continued on the porch and through out the cottage. It is full of decor that calls you to take your shoes off and find a comfy place to make memories with the people you treasure the most. Our goals for the weekend was definitely met and we will return as much as possible!

Beautiful cottage with attention to detail!
We chose this place because we love Mentone, DeSoto St Park, just the whole area and I was looking for enough room for 6 of us and our dog. Our doodle vacations with us and this house was perfect with a large front yard on a quiet street. It was a meet in the middle place for our group. We like to cook, play games, puzzle, hike while we are here and this cottage had great spaces especially for games and puzzles and was so cozy with the propane heaters and fireplace. Our power went out during the night in a storm but we were able to stay until it was restored because of the light from all the windows and we were plenty warm with the fireplace. We made use of the generous gift for breakfast for 2 at Hatter's in Mentone. Reservations are recommended for the best experience and we really had a nice time. It is a wonderfully unique place and the food was great. I loved that this was not the cookie cutter cabin but a beautiful cottage with attention to detail. We would happily return.

This home was amazingly peaceful, quiet, and relaxing.
We had such a wonderful time at Boho. My husband said it reminded him of his grandmother's house (which is a huge compliment!) and that he never wanted to leave! We loved the sunrooms and porches. It was awesome to "sit outside" without bugs and mosquitoes eating you up. The decorations were awesome and just engulf you with warmth the second you walk in the door. And then to find a Bible, open to scripture, on the back porch, was amazing. There were so many special touches in the home. Our dogs also had a great time, and that means the world to us. They are our kids, as our kids are grown up now and moved on with their own families. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. Our one complaint? We couldn't stay longer! Thank you, again, for letting us experience your home.
