This beautiful coastal condo is located oceanfront in The Ashworth, one of North Myrtle Beach's premier high rises. Located on Ocean Blvd, 1/2 block off Main St. (GPS address is 102 No. Ocean Blvd, No. Myrtle Beach, SC). We normally have a large beach between our building and the ocean with plenty of space for sunbathing, bocce ball, or building sandcastles. The building recently added a dune walkover which lets you go from the building to the sand/beach with no steps. Enjoy the view and expansive coastline views from the large windows and balcony from the 17th floor. This 4-bedroom designer unit is perfect for couples, family vacations, golfers, shaggers or a girlfriends' getaway. Come visit quaint North Myrtle Beach and enjoy restaurants, shopping, ice cream/candy shops and live music -all within walking distance. Make sure you check out the SC state dance - the shag - while here! You can find shaggers at Fat Harold's, Duck's or OD Pavilion almost every day. Rest assured, you'll find something for everyone here and want to come back year after year .

Family beach getaway

The owners were great and the property was stocked and well kept. Check in was a breeze, and any questions were answered in a very timely manner. Location, set up, parking and elevators were optimal and the walk to the beach was easy. Loved the keyless entry. The only thing we had any issues with were roku TV and Wi-Fi which buffered or went out from time to time. Overall, we'd stay there again!

This place has it all!!

You really can't go wrong with booking this condo. It's in a great location and Stan and Susan were wonderful to rent from. Anytime I had a question they were quick to answer it. The location is perfect and the view from the 17th floor can't be beat. When we arrived the place was spotless. The bedrooms are very spacious and the living room and kitchen were the perfect size for our group of 6. On check in day we took Stan's advice and had Georgio's pizza for dinner which you can see from the balcony. It arrived fast and was as good as he said it would be. One other spot you need to check out is Melt if you're in the mood for ice cream. It is located right across the street from Georgio's. I had the peanut butter cup and peach and they were both really good. Overall we had a wonderful time and experience here and would not hesitate to rent it again. Thanks for a great time!!

Great for us!

Our family of 10 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My husband and I, plus our daughter, son in law and three grandgirls (8,10 and 12) and our son and daughter in law and grandboy (2 months) met in Myrtle Beach for a week of relaxing and reconnecting. The spaciousness of the condo was a bonus for us..... and three bathrooms made it very easy with our crowd. When we get together we LOVE to cook. Our son and my husband are the stars in the kitchen so we were thrilled to find a condo so well equipped! We always bring our own knives and blender (a really heavy duty one for acai bowls!), but everything else was there. Large pots, a griddle and plenty of dishes and glassware. We had a minor problem with a toilet but the owner jumped on it and it was fixed quickly. The 17th floor gave us lovely breezes and getting to and from the ocean was easy.... good elevators in this building. The size of the indoor pool was a bit disappointing ... many other condos have larger ones BUT the lazy river and outdoor pool were nice as was the hot tub spa (extra large). Very convenient to everything we wanted to do and we'd definitely rent it again!

This property is well worth renting. You will not be disappointed.

I am 49 years old and my wife is 46. We were traveling with 4 relatives all between 70 - 84. All of us only have praise for this condo. All the bedrooms and linen were clean, bathrooms were clean and tidy, all appliances work but the dryer takes awhile to get clothes dry. My wife thinks it needs to be replaced. I personally don't care. The mattress in the Master Bedroom is firm but comfortable. I am 237 lbs and I found it to be perfect for me. My wife is 120 lbs and she had no complaint. The Central A/C was very efficient. Refrigerator / Freezer is clean with no odors. All the showers are clean, smell clean, work well and have hot water. The furniture is not beat-up and worn. The furniture is the same as it looks in the pics. The location is ideal for families as compared to the South Myrtle Beach traffic and crowds. Expect to wait for an elevator on your arrival date as everyone is converging on the lobby with their luggage at the same time. This wasn't a problem for us because we know the routine. The staff at this High Rise are very courteous and knowledgable. The only thing that was missing from the unit was a "Key" for the Exercise Room. I spent the first few days thinking since our unit has a keypad for entry that we did not have access to the equipment. I was made aware of a "Key" when we couldn't use the bathroom on the first floor without it. This would be an excellent choice for those with small children. The other renters that week were usually large, upper working class blue collar families with young children . There were no wild teens or young 20's blasting music and smoking marijuana. No drunken middle aged men with receding hairlines passed out in the lobby. Definitely is a quiet location with good respectable tenants. There are many retail stores and supermarkets within walking distance. The parking garage is a little tight getting in and out of. There is a giant open field used for parking directly across the street for trailers and big SUV's and Pick-Up trucks. Communication was consistent with the owner Stan and his wife Susan. I highly recommend this Condo for renting.

Excellent property, right on the beach with a magnificent view of the beach and Main Street from the balcony. Very well equipped, dishes, pots, pans. Bed was extremely comfortable in the master. And the master bath was amazing. Large comfortable shower, jacuzzi tub, double sink. Washer and dryer in the unit. Coffee maker with a kurig. Just everything you need to be at home. Highly recommend.

Everything was great. The only issue were the elevators going down but the owner reached out and found out the problem and communicated with us and they had two back up and running before we left. The owner also allowed us a little extra check out time since it was longer wait for elevators

Summer family vacation

Everything was great! Only two complaints were there was not enough towels nor wash cloths with 9 people and some showering more then once a day. The showers were not draining well so you were standing in a good amount of water by the time you got done. Other than that, no issues. Location was great! Owners were fast to respond.

Great condo, awesome location

Condo was very clean and well-stocked, plenty of beds and baths and TVs. Location could not be beat. Walking distance to restaurants, clubs, beach stores, convenience stores. Amazing view from 17th floor corner. Owners were nice and efficient to deal with. 4 elevators and lots of carts. Nice pools including 1-ft toddler pool, lazy river, LARGE jacuzzi. Beautiful wide beach. Only 15 mins from Barefoot Landing. We love to go to the Boulineau's IGA when we go to this area. Hope to go back soon!

The place was nice. Clean and quiet. Beautiful views. Spacious. My husband is not a fisherman and caught 4 stingrays--we were able to put them back into the ocean safely! the pools, lazy river and hot tub were great Definitely want to return!

A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Stan has been a regular at Ocean Drive for over 50 years!! After he graduated NCSU, he met Susan, a native of Arkansas and moved her to NC. He couldn't wait to introduce her to the beaches of North/South Carolina and share his wonderful childhood memories as well as college memories - shaggin' in the sand and listening to his favorite beach bands! Over the years, we have enjoyed annual beach reunions with Stan's Sigma Chi brothers and numerous family and friends. We are happy to share this little slice of heaven with you!

Why they chose this property

Stan and Susan were thrilled when they were able to purchase this beautiful condo in this fabulous location in Ocean Drive in 2000. They have made wonderful family memories with their 3 children and and many friends while relaxing and playing at the beach over the years! Now with (soon to be) five grandchildren to introduce to shell hunting, wave riding, and shaggin' in the sand, a new chapter and family fun continues.....

What makes this property unique

Ocean Drive still has the small beach town feel with Main Street just a block away. Seafood shacks, ice cream parlors and pizza joints as well as shag clubs and bars...and the most unique of all is the OD Pavillion - a throwback in time - open air pavillion a grill, bar, arcade games, pool tables and a wooden dance floor. Something for everyone in the family!
