This Rental was very nice.It was nicely decorate, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The decks and the rushing creek was an extra bonus also the smell of the water was special. The fishing was good and the men enjoyed it !! We loved our stay and hope to do it again.
Home sits on side of mountain with beautiful view of Tumbling Creek and provides a very tranquil environment listening to the running water. It snowed a couple of days while here which created a picturesque view, just like a Christmas postcard.Home is very clean and welcoming with excellent heating for those cold days. We had all the amenities we needed, and host is very quick to respond if you have any questions.Looking forward to our next visit here.

So glad you enjoyed your stay! You’re welcome back anytime.
Place was spotless and included many extras like coffee pods and small size toiletries. Beds were super comfortable and the decks over looking the creek were excellent place to relax. Only suggestion would be to install reflectors for the driveways in the dark and to add some basic details about parking since it isn't super obvious if you're arriving late. We would definitely stay again!!

Thank you for the suggestions. So glad you enjoyed your stay! Come back anytime!
We had family business in Saltville, so my husband, myself and our 65lb Standard Poodle stayed at this property in May 2026. It was exactly as portrayed on the VRBO site. We particularly loved sitting on the covered front porch and listening to the creek. All of the porches/decks have gates so there are no worries about keeping your dogs safe. The fencing is high enough that we did not worry about our Poodle being able to get over it. Inside, the house is nicely furnished and has everything that we needed. A lot of thought was put into providing what guests would like and need for a stay in the mountains, like blankets for wrapping up to sit on the porch, an electric fireplace to warm up, and lots of coffee and tea for the Keurig and kettle. A regular coffee pot is also provided. I saw that several reviews indicated that this is on a busy street, but that is not the case. There is vehicle traffic, but the cars are few and far between. Do note that most travel well above the posted speed though. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Creekside and will stay again when our travels bring us back to the area.
The place was in a lovely setting with a fishable creek across the road, great for us 4 trout fishermen. It was spotless, comfy, and easy to use for prepping meals. You do need to be active to climb up and down all the steps to get in and out, but it was good exercise for 4 aging seniors. And Terri was a very helpful and communicative host.
Beautifully decorated cabin. Loved sitting on the deck listening to the water. Forgot our fishing poles! But next time they will definitely be packed!!
We had a great stay here! Clean and comfortable cabin and a nice deck to sit and relax while enjoying the sights and sounds of the creek. Easy check-in.
GPS in the area was spotty for us, so it might be helpful to save or print your directions before you arrive.
The owner really thought of everything. The house was beautifully decorated inside to match the rural setting. We loved the location because it was right in the middle of the places we wanted to visit: Virginia Creeper Trail in Damascus, Hungry Mother State Park, the Channels Natural Area Preserve, and Abingdon.
Such a nice property! It is completely updated, new, clean and nicely decorated. We were able to do lots of hiking and come home to a comfy place. The beds and pillows were also comfy. I highly recommend this.
Our stay at Creekberry was very relaxing. They provided a clean and comfortable place for us and our dog Stella. Rarely will you find the level of amenities and hospitality that we received. Just take your food and enjoy the super clean home and the deck to enjoy the beautiful area and listening to the creek. Would definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the area.
We have stayed in many rental houses from different companies and this was by far one of the nicest ones we have ever stayed in. Well stocked and very comfortable. FYI if you have a fear of spiders, be warned they love the front door. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to southwestern virginia.
Nice little house on a stream. Nice white noise. Water heater is a little small and internet goes out every once in a while. Peaceful and quiet area. Old but upkept house.

Thank you for your review. I’m sorry about the internet. We have been having issues since the Hurricane and equipment is still being upgraded.
The location was great secluded but with a few other house around. Right next to a creek you can fish or play in. The house was very clean and had everything we needed; bedding, dishes, cleaning supplies, and even coffee. There were even a few board games and coloring books for the kids. And the checkers table was a big hit as well.
The perfect place to hang with my sister and nieces before and after our ride on the Creeper Trail. Thank you so much! My senior lab also loved being able to join us. Thank you even more for being pet friendly!
