We have spend many years in Saltville some years ago right down the road from here in a camper. This was our first time back and we will be back many more times to this property. When I tell you it is the absolute best place we have stayed in years as we go somewhere different every year for our anniversary. We will be back here for years to come . Forgot howMuch I missed trout fishing and this clean everything you could want property is a hidden jewel. If you love solitude or just to unplug from the world this is it. Host fantastic . Can’t say enough good things about this place

Thank you for the beautiful review❤️ you are welcome back anytime! We appreciate you taking of our property - it was left in perfect condition!
This Rental was very nice.It was nicely decorate, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The decks and the rushing creek was an extra bonus also the smell of the water was special. The fishing was good and the men enjoyed it !! We loved our stay and hope to do it again.
We have stayed here a few times now and have never been disappointed. Terri will respond promptly with any questions or assistance when needed. The property has a modern appeal with a country undertone and has all the amenities you would need making it truly a home away from home.It is extremely clean, has a great heat/ac system for all types of weather, as well an electric fireplace for the really cold nights. We enjoy the beautiful view sitting at the kitchen table or sitting outside on the deck listening the sound of the river while drinking our coffee. There is a grill on the deck, but we haven't taken advantage of it yet. Boys enjoy fishing in the creek when they are with us, and I enjoy a stroll along the river taking in the mountain view. We've stayed at several places in the area when this one is booked, but this is by far one of my favorites and always my first choice.

If a country getaway is for you this place is perfect. Beautiful scenery and the sound of the creek was amazing. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
Home sits on side of mountain with beautiful view of Tumbling Creek and provides a very tranquil environment listening to the running water. It snowed a couple of days while here which created a picturesque view, just like a Christmas postcard.Home is very clean and welcoming with excellent heating for those cold days. We had all the amenities we needed, and host is very quick to respond if you have any questions.Looking forward to our next visit here.

So glad you enjoyed your stay! You’re welcome back anytime.
Place was spotless and included many extras like coffee pods and small size toiletries. Beds were super comfortable and the decks over looking the creek were excellent place to relax. Only suggestion would be to install reflectors for the driveways in the dark and to add some basic details about parking since it isn't super obvious if you're arriving late. We would definitely stay again!!

Thank you for the suggestions. So glad you enjoyed your stay! Come back anytime!
The place was in a lovely setting with a fishable creek across the road, great for us 4 trout fishermen. It was spotless, comfy, and easy to use for prepping meals. You do need to be active to climb up and down all the steps to get in and out, but it was good exercise for 4 aging seniors. And Terri was a very helpful and communicative host.
We had a great stay here! Clean and comfortable cabin and a nice deck to sit and relax while enjoying the sights and sounds of the creek. Easy check-in.
GPS in the area was spotty for us, so it might be helpful to save or print your directions before you arrive.
Beautifully decorated cabin. Loved sitting on the deck listening to the water. Forgot our fishing poles! But next time they will definitely be packed!!
Such a nice property! It is completely updated, new, clean and nicely decorated. We were able to do lots of hiking and come home to a comfy place. The beds and pillows were also comfy. I highly recommend this.
The owner really thought of everything. The house was beautifully decorated inside to match the rural setting. We loved the location because it was right in the middle of the places we wanted to visit: Virginia Creeper Trail in Damascus, Hungry Mother State Park, the Channels Natural Area Preserve, and Abingdon.
