Perfect place. Excellent spot to visit your favorite college student. Great coffee shop half a block away, excellent cocktails within walking distance, and the property has no issues. I even enjoyed a handful of cherry tomatoes from the garden while taking in the pollinators paradise of a backyard.

Kris is an excellent host! Great communication and instructions! The house is extremely unique, beautiful and well furnished. Loved the back garden area. Don’t miss Cleo & Leo bakery around the corner. So yummy! Yes, the trains are loud but she listed that, we didn’t mind, we grew up around them. Great location to downtown. Enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely loved the gardens and the porch! Proximity to downtown Lawrence and KU campus was perfect. Loved walking to Cleo and Leo's down the streets for coffee. Will miss hearing the train now that we've gone home!

The host was very welcoming…We just really didn’t get to spend much time at the house. With family near by, we slept there at night, but spent the days away from the house. It was comfortable, plenty of room for the 7 of us. Too bad it was so cold I think the porch swing would have been a big hit!

Great location! Convenient to downtown and all of Lawrence. I used to live downtown so I know about the trains. Yes you can hear them as it clearly states in the description. We actually liked the rumble of the trains after the horns. Home is great with everything anyone could need. Great courtyard that I imagine in the spring is bloomed and beautiful. Host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. If trains bother you don’t stay here but if you know Lawrence you know this is a great place!

We always look for a rental with personality, character or charm. This home surpassed our expectations on all counts- we loved it! Location is so handy to downtown in a quiet neighborhood ( except for that train!) But train or not- we’d stay again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful place to stay. They have a bakery a minute walk away. Very charming. Loved having my coffee and pastry on the porch watching the hummingbirds. Will stay again if we get a chance.
