Room was great overall, but one of the bathroom sinks was clogged, the rug in the main bedroom was fairly dirty, and when I attempted to contact management about issues I got no response. But otherwise the unit was clean, and as described. We enjoyed our stay.
Everything was wonderful, and the photos did not capture how clean and comfortable the property was. Showers were super strong. No tissues or extra paper goods. We’d love to return someday!
Such a great location and wonderful hosts! We were excited to be able to access the beach so easily! We had a bit of an AC issue that was quickly resolved! Heads up that there is not a washer nor dryer in the unit, but the laundry room is close by.
The bedding needed laundered. Bed spreads were dirty. Pillows need replaced. Garbage/dishes under the beds. The unit itself is great!! Great updates. Great location. It is a second floor walk up unit which we did not realize but that was fine for us. (No beach towels included with the towels/linens). We made great memories and would come back to that unit again- just hoping the cleaning crew does a better job in the future.
The view was amazing, the room/place was clean, and we really enjoyed our stay. It was lovely to walk from our place to the sand with no shoes. The cons - the beds were hard and not comfortable, many dishes were dirty, they give you 3 bars of soap, one roll of paper towels, and 3 bags of dishwasher detergent and NOTHING extra - we had no shampoo, no hand soap, no extra towels/no beach towels, no way to do dishes by hand, and not even one single extra trash bag. Never have we stayed in a place that literally gave us nothing. I suppose that is why the dishes were dirty. We washed almost every dish again when we arrived. Do not ask Casa Mar for a thing. We didn't know we were out of TP bc they only gave us one full roll and one partial in the two bathrooms, so a quick trip to the Casa Mar front desk had us learning quickly that we were up a creek. Including plenty of TP and trash bags and even a tiny dish soap does not cost much, particularly given what we paid. Future guests just be aware to bring everything you need. While the place was great, we were blown away by the lack of things we consider standard. Left us feeling like we truly didn't matter to this rental company. All for a few bucks of basic necessities, I just don't get that. There are chairs on the beach, but you need to get there early bc some of them are falling apart and those will be the ones left if you aren't there early. There is no beach attendant, so you drag your stuff out and back.
