The location was excellent. We spent most of our time in Yellowstone National Park and found the access to the park very easy. There were mule deer, pronghorn and coyote's on VRBO property and Grizzly bear viewing within 4 miles near Tom Miner Campground. This property was exactly what we needed. And finally, the host was excellent with great communication.
Beautifully located home with all the amenities you need to enjoy Paradise Valley and day trip into Yellowstone. Comfortable spaces, generous deck and unreal views. Our family was happy to come back to this home after every full day out and about.
Had a wonderful stay, was easy to check in, it’s a bit of a drive down a small road, but from gardiner it’s really not bad at all I don’t think 4wd would be necessary for summer months. The place was perfect for our family, plenty of beds and space to relax and a great porch to just take in the view, which are unbeatable. It’s a cabin, so expect cabin type things, let it air out and check for mice when you get there and you’ll be fine. Would highly recommend

We enjoyed hosting Keller and his group. Welcome back any time!
property was excellent. Very secluded and peaceful . Directions to property however took us to a road that had been closed for over a year. We had to find an alternate route. Also the site we were asked to take our trash to required a permit which was not provided

We are so glad you enjoyed the property! I dropped the ball with communication for Richard and his guests on the updated driving directions. The Carbella Bridge will be done by October, 2024.
I set up a large trash can on the deck for extra trash and encourage guests to contact me when it's full so we can take it away.
This is a great cabin in a beautiful setting. It is a bit of a drive to the park entrance but I knew it would be. We didn’t mind the extra driving and it was worth it to be away from the crowds.
Our contact was great. My son accidentally damaged a glass door, and they were so understanding and worked us to get everything taken care of.
It is a wonderful cabin. The cookware needs attention but otherwise we had everything we needed.
You can tell that this is owned and run by very good people. Thank you for a nice time!

John was a great guest- he let us know immediately about the broken door so we were able to get it fixed quickly. His family is welcome back any time! The Carbella Bridge will be replaced in the spring of 2024 so the commute to Gardiner and the north entrance of Yellowstone Park will be as it has been in the past, roughly 25 minutes.
The property is very inside with the broken road. Water supply was not good . overall not the value for money

We aim to make all guests happy and this 1 star review is not a surprise. Deepa lied about how many guests they were bringing- they brought 6 adults and 5 children but their reservation only stated 5 adults and 3 children. They left the house after check out time and left the house in complete disarray. We take multiple water samples yearly to uphold our public accommodation license and we haven't failed a sample yet- there is no water supply issue. The dirt road is longer than usual with the Carbella Bridge being repaired but scenic, it's very passable and there are many permanent residents living in Tom Miner Basin.

a spacious house with beautiful views
The house was large and comfortable for our 3 generation family trip and the views were panoramic, despite the haze from the fires. The air conditioning worked well for us. We did not need Yellowstone for the wildlife as it was right there; the deer had no trouble jumping the 5 ft fence to get to the apple tree! It was very nice to go for walks in the hills around the house, though the river is 5 minutes drive, not walk. The only small issue was that the Carbella bridge across the Yellowstone is out and it seems not too clear when it will reopen. This currently adds 10 miles, 5 on gravel road, to the drive from Yellowstone.

Hi Anne,
Thank you for staying with us! Yes the river is close but a little longer than 5 minute walk and there are no private fishing access points at the end.
Thankfully the Carbella Bridge is now open and will hopefully not be under construction for years to come! It's been a huge pain for everyone in the area this summer.

Paradise Valley Montana is Paradise
The best thing about the River View Gateway is the view of Paradise Valley and the Yellowstone River. The view is stunning. It was great to sit on the deck early in the morning and watch deer 15 ft. away. Listening to Sandhill Cranes during the day was a pleasure. The house itself was great, even though the air conditioner could not keep up with the heat. The Yellowstone River is spectacular and you should do a raft trip down the river. You can drive to the river in 5 min. but I challenge anyone to walk there in 5 min. It is a comfortable house worth the money to rent. I recommend staying a week or two.

Hi Jerry,
Thanks for visiting! It helps to open all the windows at night and close the windows and shades while you're not in. The ground level generally stays cool and the upstairs kitchen/living room can get hot even with the wall air conditioner.
We hope you come back soon!

We stayed at River View Gateway in Emigrant, MT, in mid-July. The house is beautiful and spacious, offering stunning views and a very comfortable stay. Its location, approximately 30 minutes north of Yellowstone's North Entrance, is convenient for park access. The property feels secluded and was impeccably clean upon arrival. The generous deck provides amazing views and was a highlight.A few suggestions for improvement:1. Dishwasher: The existing dishwasher functions but lacks a soap reservoir, requiring soap to be sprinkled directly onto the dishes. Replacing it would be a significant upgrade.2. Temperature Control: The house gets quite warm during the day. While the portable AC unit in the living room works well, additional fans for the bedrooms would greatly improve comfort (we only found two fans for five bedrooms).3. Small Amenity: Adding a corkscrew would be a helpful addition for guests.Despite these minor points, we had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the property's comfort and setting.

Thank you for staying with us, Gabriel! We are slowly improving the house and a new dishwasher is on the list! I've already added more fans for comfort.
For the second year, our extended family enjoyed this lovely rental
It's spacious, clean and comfortable and the views are incredible!
The location is ideal for exploring the park
Tanya is always quick to respond to any questions and is always very helpful
Our family gives it 5 stars!
Our family of 6 really enjoyed our stay at this property. Everyone was able to have their own space, yet enjoy plenty of time together. The views from the deck are spectacular, especially watching the sun come over the mountains in the early morning. It was only a short drive to Gardiner and the north Yellowstone entrance. The information binder was full of great recommendations of things to do/places to see. We will most definitely be recommending this property to family and friends!

Loved the Area
Enjoyed the views, proximity to park and the property manager
I voiced my concerns regarding potential accident hazards
House was spacious and about 30 minutes from the northwest entrance of Yellowstone. Convenient to Mammoth and Lamar Valley. Very quiet area. Not much close for food or other activities so bring all you need with you.
This property is wonderfully situated - stunning views, quiet, plenty of space. Beds are comfortable, kitchen well-stocked. I recommend it to all! Roughly a half-hour drive to Yellowstone. Only off-notes were a rabid robin, who started pounding on windows early, and the weirdly sloppy grout job on tub in master suite.
Stayed at the house while doing some work in the area. Nice place on a quiet hillside overlooking the river and valley. The evening views from the patio were terrific! Would recommend staying here if you need a place for a group or large family.
Perfect in every way
Location is ideal, views are stunning
The house is spacious, with ideal spaces for gathering in addition to plenty of bedrooms
Tanya is delightful, and responds promptly to any questions
We only wish we had spent 2 months instead of 2 weeks! We look forward to returning
Tanya’s property is ideal for family gatherings, and is in a great location for exploring the Yellowstone River, hiking to the petrified woods, gravel biking, going to Yellowstone Park. The house is set up ideally for multiple families, allowing each to have their own space. It was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and the large deck was perfect for relaxing and taking in the scenery at the end of the day. Tanya was a great host, and we will recommend this property to our friends.
