It was an awesome stay! We got the quiet cabin in the woods experience but still convenient to get to places near by for fun and food. The cabin is well taken care of. Everything feels old time authentic. I've already recommended this place to my other family members.
We loved this cabin! It was perfect for just the two of us. Very clean and had everything we needed. The host did a great job of communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. We plan on staying again.
My husband and I were looking for a quiet place to really focus on us and planning for our future - this place hit and surpassed our expectations! The quiet nature around you, the beautiful glow of the sunset through the windows in the evening, the overall setting of the cabin itself - it was so relaxing and a great place for us to just shut off for a weekend! The host went above and beyond for us and i am so grateful for the open communication and willingness to work with us!! Cant wait to come back!
This cabin is prefect for those looking for a quite location with all the necessities to make it so you don't have to roam far to enjoy all this place has to offer, from the grill and camp fires to exploring the surrounding area.
LOVED this little cabin. It was just secluded enough to be peaceful and quiet but close enough to everything we needed. Wayne and his wife were amazing to work with. The dogs loved the big porch to lay on and watch/listen to nature. We had everything we needed. We had such a great experience and we will definitely be back!! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cute little cabin in the woods!
An amazing property - much thoughtfulness and ingenuity went into utilizing an existing old cabin, then adding a large bedroom on one side and the eat-in kitchen, bathroom and laundry are on the other side. EVERY thing we needed was at our fingertips! Front & back porches complete with ramp into the back door - even a hammock in the back yard. Host even brought fresh garden products for us to enjoy! WOW- & Dollar General 4 miles away met all our needs.
The owner, Wayne, was incredibly responsive, the property is freshly built/remodeled, and the location is a serene wooded area overlooking a small pond! My girlfriends and I spent a lot of time on the large front porch, and we will book here again!
We stayed for the weekend to attend a wedding nearby. After a long drive and then a busy day, the cabin was just the tranquil environment we needed to unwind. The décor was very nostalgic. The bed was comfortable, and sitting on the back porch listening to the birds and enjoying the view was very peaceful.
My children and I stayed at this beautiful property over the weekend. It was everything we wanted and more! The cabin is nestled in a wooded glen with a little pond full of minnows and tadpoles that my daughter enjoyed catching. The old-fashioned kitchen was well-appointed with all the dishes, pots, and pans we needed to cook our meals. Wayne was a good resource for stuff to do in the area and was very responsive to my texts and messages. We had a terrific time and we will stay here again if we need a spot close to the lake in the future!
