Mei was very communicative, before and during the stay. There were some issues that required attention on check in, which were mostly addressed promptly. The backyard was a plus for the dogs. Location is proximal to endless food options and shops. House was thoughtfully supplied.

Memorial day weekend stay

The house was great. Beds were comfortable and the place was well furnished. The location is great, adjacent to the Fan district and Carytown. Parking was never an issue with ample spaces on the street. There's a big open park a block away and the neighbor hood is great for a jog or a walk

THE GOOD: Communication was quick and very polite. The linens on the beds were nice and the hosts were accommodating for our crated pet.Check in and check out were both very easy and the terms of the transaction were reasonable. THE BAD:The entire unit smelled very strongly of marijuana. This was especially noticeable in the front room/dining room area. May be that pot smoke odor was clinging to the fabric couch? Each time you enter the unit you are hit with the odor.The unit was clean, but not deep cleaned. Floors were swept but not mopped, etc.Many of the interior doors are very difficult to open and close. The doors themselves need to be sanded along the top edge. Our kids could not get the bathroom or bedroom doors opened or closed by themselves and locking the upper level bathroom door was impossible.

Super cozy

This house is so cute and cozy! Definitely a home away from home. Quiet area located near a beautiful park. Host was so friendly and very quick to respond to texts with questions. We ate dinner at Edo squid had the rockfish and it was fantastic.The back yard was very nice to have for the dogs. Very secure. I would definitely stay here again!

Clean but sketchy neighborhood

Very very nice place but in a little sketchy part of town. Only 1 parking spot and someone took it so we had to street park. Pipes knocked alot through the night.

We had a very late arrival after 7 hour drive with two toddlers which is the ONLY reason we slept here after seeing the state of this property. The place was filthy and smelled heavily of cigarettes. Floors had visible dirt everywhere. Bathroom vanity had visible dirt, there was mold and shower door was covered in soap scum. It was gross. Host was dismissive until I contacted vrbo directly. These high ratings must be fake because there is no way. Also all beds had 100% polyester sheets. I hope the host will make some major improvements.
