We had a wonderful stay, By the Pond!

I believe that staying By the Pond in Surfside was one of our best vacations ever. The house was well stocked and we all enjoyed the pool & golf cart. There was plenty of entertainment for the children and ample space for 10 visitors aged 9-62. We all absolutely loved it! The owners and people who worked for them were fantastic. We hope to return in the future.

It was so much more than I and my family anticipated….a true hidden gem!!! The location was convenient to beach access, restaurants and so much more!!! The house was extremely warm and inviting….we had a total of 7 adults…plenty of room to relax both inside and outside…we never felt like we were crawling over or interrupting somebody ….it was awesome!!! I will be coming back to this VRBO in the very near future….thank you to our hosts, Kathy and Steve, for making this a very memorable experience and a true vacation!!

This house was clean, in a peaceful neighborhood only 2 blocks from the ocean. Not far from restaurants and shopping. House was fully equipped with everything you’d need. Very happy with our stay.

A very enjoyable, comfortable, worry-free stay

We loved our stay at By The Pond. There were 6 adults (3 couples). The home was very clean and stocked with necessary essentials. Each couple had our own bedroom and own bathroom. In the front entry of the home was a large living room where we could all sit together on comfortable couches and converse. In the kitchen, there is a large table with 8 chairs - plenty of room & space for us to sit together for meals. The ladies in the group loved using the swimming pool to stay cool on the hot October days we were there. The house was 2 short blocks from the ocean - an easy walk. We had a question regarding the WiFi. We called the owner Steve, & he answered on the first ring & got us signed onto the WiFi with no problem. Steve was very accommodating & wanted us to be comfortable in his home. This was a very nice community with a quiet atmosphere and no loud music. We will not hesitate to make recommendations for others to stay here.

Relaxing weekend with top notch accommodations

This was our second stay at the property and it once again lived up to expectations. Plenty of room for two families with children and an ideal location for beach access and entertainment/dining options. The golf cart and beach chairs came in handy during our trip. Highly recommend!

Great Location

This house is in a great location, close to the beach but also in a quiet neighborhood. The private pool was wonderful and the use of the golf cart made it easy to get to the beach and to the pier. The owners checked in to make sure everything was going well which was nice. Would definitely stay again!

The house was nice and spacious for our family of 9. We all had a great time and enjoyed the pool as much as possible. The pond was great. We would get up in the morning and the grandkids loved to go outside and see the turtles and geese and go fishing. Very nice and quiet area. A short walk to the beach. Loved seeing the golf cart parade on memorial day. Overall it was such a good time for all of us. We Would Definitely go back. Thank you for letting us stay at your lovely home. Adriana and family

Perfect family vacation

We live By the Pond for so many reasons, but the top 3 are its location, cleanliness, and layout. There is enough room for grandparents and teens to spread out when needed but there are also lots of spaces they can hang out together.

Great get away!

Very nice property - the private pool is really nice to have! And the golf cart was very helpful in getting around to the beach (but it's not that far to walk). Clean, comfortable, nice neighborhood. Would definitely return to this location.

Perfect family vacation spot

The property is clean and spacious. The short walk to the beach is a plus. Many extras make your stay more enjoyable, including bikes, beach chairs, a golf cart, and a ping pong table! The owner is very responsive and helpful if needs arise. We've stayed here multiple years and plan to return! Thanks for a great vacation!

This is a great property close to the beach. We really liked the pool and the golf cart was very convenient. The property owners were responsive with any questions we had. Will likely stay with them again!
