Relaxing weekend with top notch accommodations

This was our second stay at the property and it once again lived up to expectations. Plenty of room for two families with children and an ideal location for beach access and entertainment/dining options. The golf cart and beach chairs came in handy during our trip. Highly recommend!

Great Location

This house is in a great location, close to the beach but also in a quiet neighborhood. The private pool was wonderful and the use of the golf cart made it easy to get to the beach and to the pier. The owners checked in to make sure everything was going well which was nice. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect family vacation spot

The property is clean and spacious. The short walk to the beach is a plus. Many extras make your stay more enjoyable, including bikes, beach chairs, a golf cart, and a ping pong table! The owner is very responsive and helpful if needs arise. We've stayed here multiple years and plan to return! Thanks for a great vacation!

Perfect house at Surfside

This was our third time staying at this house. The house is spacious inside and out. Love the outdoor furniture and pool. The kids always love seeing the turtles. Short walk to the beach and golf cart provided in price. Owners are very nice and always prompt to answer. Hope to visit again in the future. Highly recommend.

Perfect family vacation

We live By the Pond for so many reasons, but the top 3 are its location, cleanliness, and layout. There is enough room for grandparents and teens to spread out when needed but there are also lots of spaces they can hang out together.

Great get away!

Very nice property - the private pool is really nice to have! And the golf cart was very helpful in getting around to the beach (but it's not that far to walk). Clean, comfortable, nice neighborhood. Would definitely return to this location.

By The Pond had everything we needed for the most amazing vacation. The pool was so relaxing. The golf cart and beach chairs made going to the beach a breeze and so many toys for the kids! Sitting by the pond with coffee was the best way to wake up every day. Fifth Year! Perfect!

We always enjoy our time at On The Pond. Beach, pool, golf cart, turtles. Little touches throughout the house. Well stocked kitchen with pans, Pyrex baking dishes, etc. To cut down on dishwashing, we brought heavy weight paper plates, platters and cups. Very clean. Walmart, Food Lions nearby for grocery shopping.

Labor Day Getaway

Charming ground floor cottage in great location. The included linens and golf cart were wonderful bonus. The pond with turtles was big hit with kids as well as playground in sight of house and pool. Lots of chairs and places to sit and relax. We had great trip.

Great vacation rental

We thoroughly enjoyed this deceptively large beach house. We were pleased with the cleanliness of the home and the layout. We enjoyed the beach and the pool and it was nice to have the outdoor showers to wash the sand away. We really liked the golf cart very handy to take o the beach. We were quite pleased with this home and would rent it again.

Kathy and I love our homes in Surfside Beach SC, “The Family Beach”. Throughout the years we vacationed at many different places along the coast of North and South Carolina. When we stayed at Surfside Beach, we knew this was the place we wanted to purchase a home at. It has so much more to offer than the other coastal areas we visited previously- it is a small family-oriented town only 2 miles long, that is clean, safe, and close to all the activities of the Myrtle Beach Grand Strand, and is golf cart and pedestrian friendly so you can leave the car parked and just enjoy family time.

When we were younger, we stayed at many places, but they always seemed to let us down- issues with cleanliness, location, amenities, etc. We decided if we were ever fortunate enough to own a beach home that we, or people who visited our home, would never experience these issues. We offer everything possible at our homes. We handle all rentals on our own, being most rental companies are concerned with profit above guest satisfaction. We do everything possible to ensure a 5 star stay for our guests who often become friends over the years, and even have a local contact, who is a friend of ours, to help handle any unforeseen issues that one may incur during their stay.

We try to make sure our homes have everything that you would have at your personal home like a well-stocked kitchen and laundry, plus nice amenities while on vacation like private pools, hammocks, linens and house towels, beach toys and chairs, ping pong, and some of the homes also have elevators, and included golf carts. On top of all of that our places are clean, and none of them are very far from the beach, or shopping, restaurants, and attractions.

Why they chose this property

Best location in Myrtle Beach area. Family friendly with little noise and traffic, but convenient to everything. Our home is on one of the nicest lots in Surfside Beach near the ocean, next to a pond, and near a park with children's playsets. We also have a golf cart available for our guests along with our nice private swimming pool.

What makes this property unique

Beautiful setting with water view of pond and close to the ocean.
Private pool with heating available. Enjoy watching wildlife and turtles in the pond. Park located across the water from the home offering slides, children play items, park benches,horseshoes, and boccie ball.
Home also has numerous decks to sit on and relax. Interior of home is all one level with a calming, nicely decorated atmosphere.
Well stocked kitchen, and has 2 living rooms so can get get some family seperation when needed :)
Golf cart available for your use during stay,
Built as a home for us to enjoy, not for being a rental property.
