Ocean Front Retreat!
Spectacular location and new kitchen! Watch the tide change and diverse marine ecosystem from every room. 50 feet from private swimming and ocean front pursuits. Enjoy watching boats sail by and a variety of bird species from the wrap around deck.
Accommodation for up to six includes on the main level one double bed in master bedroom, one single bed in separate bedroom. There are two queen size beds in separate lofts on the second level as well as a futon. Although the ships ladder to the loft is abit steep and not for everyone, it is certainly popular with children!
Local amenities include the Hubbards sailing school a kilometre away, grocery store, liquor store and restaurants a 20 minute walk away. Hubbards beach is a 15 minute paddle away(canoe included). The nearby Aspotogan trail system offers endless trekking and cycling opportunities.
Situated just 30 minutes from downtown Halifax, 45 minutes from the airport. The perfect location for day trips exploring all the area has to offer. Close to Peggy's Cove and the small fishing communities that dot the South Shore.

I am from the area, I rebuilt this house with help from my father in 2012. I have been around the world and the rugged, pristine coastline of Nova Scotias South Shore is a truly special place. Summer rentals allow me to pay the mortgage and I am happy to share my slice of paradise.

I choose to buy this property because of the spectacular location and having the skillset and energy to turn it into something beautiful. I am a wooden boat owner and sailing enthusiast and hope to still be in this house as an old man.
