Your peaceful getaway awaits in Elkhart at this fully equipped Heaton Lake cabin. The home includes two bedrooms featuring a queen bed and a full bed. A daybed in the living room provides two additional twin beds. The two bathrooms include a walk-in shower, and washer/dryer. Guests will find their stay here enjoyable and relaxing. Enjoy beautiful lake views, kayak or paddle board rides, eating on the deck overlooking the water, and many games for the family to play. Make fantastic memories with a stay on Heaton Lake. Two adult kayaks, one children's kayak, two paddle boards, badminton gear, hammocks, and fishing poles are available for guest's use. Maximum of 3 parking spots available, including private access to the garage via remote during your stay. Full private access to the house includes all linens, shampoo and conditioner, coffee maker and Keurig with supplies, and washer and dryer. There is a second fridge in the garage that is stocked with condiments, drinks, and ice cream that all guests are welcome to enjoy at no cost. This was an excellent stay, very comfortable and welcoming on a beautiful lake. We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer to make use of all the amenities. The lake house was a wonderful quiet place to stay. It has all the amenities you need. The beds are so comfortable you dont want to get up. The views are amazing also with not to far of a drive to the store. Also if we had questions the host was so fast to reply. Definitely recommend staying here, were already want to come back.

Lindsey is an excellent host! She made check in very easy, provided excellent communication and responded/ resolved all questions very quickly. She showed a level of professionalism that all VRBO hosts could learn from.The property is lovely and has everything needed for a comfortable & fun stay. The lake is beautiful and everything is provided to enjoy it - kayaks, boards, fishing poles, etc. The house is great for a couple or families. We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The host was very responsive, and friendly. The area was quiet, with shopping and stores close by. The cabin itself was was exactly as described, very clean, and well stocked. You have everything you need to make you feel like your home. There is even a white noise box in one of the bedrooms to help fall asleep. The only thing I would recommend to the host, is to get a removable shower head for the shower, one that offers higher water pressure, and functions. Other than that, our stay was a 10/10. My absolute favorite was enjoying coffee on the back deck in the morning, the view of the lake, it was so peaceful and beautiful. Next time we are in the area, if this is available, we will definitely stay again. I would highly recommend staying at Heaton Lake Cabin.

Although, February is not the greatest time to visit Elkhart, IN, this little cabin made it worthwhile. It was cozy, as advertised, but also clean and well-appointed with amenities and welcoming decor. Our host was perfect, delivering on what was necessary, and letting us have our space otherwise. It is a bit confusing navigating, but our host gave very clear directions. Also, although this place is well maintained and classy, there are other properties that aren't. Please don't let that deter you from staying here. Have fun!

Sweet spot!

We had the the pleasure of enjoying this sweet spot in the winter. It was fun watching the ice fishers and the birds. The cabin is clean and cozy.

We love swimming, kayaking, and fishing with our family here. During the winter, there is easy access to ice fishing, warm and cozy views of the water, and many games to play inside.
