The host communication was excellent! Great location near beach and restaurants and grocery stores. Also many golf courses near by !Pool was lovely but the lounge chairs had seen better days…3 were broken and my husband at 220lbs could not sit in the others for fear of them breaking. Definitely a great place just in need of updating ..

A mixed review The villa is in the perfect location. Really close to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants and the pool is just fabulous.The down side is the villa wasn’t the cleanest and has a problem with ants in the kitchen and bathroom.The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were very old and definitely need replacing.All this aside we had a great holiday and enjoyed our time there.With a little time and investment spent on the little things this could be a real gem

The property provided all we required for a comfortable and relaxing stay in a quiet location but within a short walk to beach, shops and a good choice of bars and restaurants would certainly be happy to return

Perfect Location

The villa was exactly as shown and described, very clean, loads of towels, loo roll and even dishwasher tablets! The pool is a brilliant size and really warm Easy to find and own parking space, just a short walk to the beach, restaurants etc Will be back!

Spacious home in ideal location at beach resort

The villa was a perfect fit for our group. It's very close to the beach and within easy walking distance to a large selection of restaurants and shops. It also served as our base for exploring other parts of the Algarve, from Sagres to Faro. The home was very clean and good use was made of the pool.

Vacation In Luz

Lines of communication were wide open and property was super accommodating. We were 2 couples celebrating a birthday in Portugal and couldn’t have asked for a better time. So close to the beach and delicious restaurants. All in walking distance. Location is super!

ideal location

lovely villa in a perfect location, easy to walk to shops, beach, pubs and places to eat. There is a bus stop and the top of the road that takes you to Lagos. The villa is large and well equipped. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay again.

Great villa with one off road parking space at the front. Big, spacious accommodation with plenty of storage. Nice sea view from veranda and the kids loved the pool (unheated so a bit nippy in april).Walking distance to small shops such as Spar, beach, cafes and bars. Lovely sandy beach. We would recommend Nah Nah Bar and Bar Habana for food close by. Went into Lagos twice which was really nice. Ate at Lazy Jacks and Shalimar. Both really nice food especially Shalimar (indian). A toilet door handle broke the first day but this was fixed within 24 hours of me reporting it.Would have been helpful to have had tea, coffee, sugar to get us started as arrived tea time.

Casa Merasol is a lovely villa and we did have a nice stay. However, we had some issues with the villa and had to contact Clara who was very helpful. Priai da Luz is a beautiful place and perfect for a quiet holiday. Our holiday was very nice overall but we were a little disappointed at the issues we encountered.

1st class location... value for money... fab pool (the wall between children's and adult end was a great place to cool down but still catch the sun!... facilities excellent....provison of the room fans a god send! Just what was needed and close to everything!

This property was the perfect set up for three couples and/or a family. We were 2 couples and it was perfect. A 3 minute walk to a beautiful beach, lots of restaurants and a fairly big grocery store all in walking distance. The bus system to Lagos was 1 euro and well worth the several trips we made to Lagos to visit different sites and boardwalks. The rental property was exceptional with a nice pool even though not heated. We had a rental car by choice and this allowed us to visit all of the Algarve area…beautiful!! We plan on returning within the next two years. I would recommend this unit to any family or up to 3 couples no problem whatsoever. A minor complaint if I may, would be having access to a small styrofoam or any type cooler for the lunches we packed everyday. Spacious Villa with great views. Barbecue was very old and fragile- so perhaps that can be upgraded. Lovely pool but a bit cool for our one year old - heating would have been great and we would have paid extra for it if it was available. Property manager really helpful and found us a high chair really quickly. Would recommend the villa.

Lovely villa with quite a large pool and sun deck. The rooms were a good size and the walk to the beach was around 5mins. Lots of kitchen ware and cutlery. The TV was a little on the small size for the room but as most channels were in Portuguese it mattered little. Although the BBQ was on site it looked a bit flimsy so we didn't use it which gave good excuse to eat out more. Local shops and restaurants are close and the entire stay was great.

Quiet town of Luz

The property was perfect for what we wanted. Three women each having their own bedroom and bathroom! You can easily walk to just about everything you need. If you want a bit more action it’s a short drive away. The only thing I would say about the property is that it needs a bit of a facelift and better mattresses.

Amazing Villa and Pool

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Maresol. The layout of the villa is great with loads of space and 3 bathrooms downstairs. The terrace upstairs is gorgeous with a large table for meal times. The pool is a great size and perfect for a dip with young children. The location of the villa is great too in a quiet cut de sac but very close to the beach and amenities that Praia da Luz has to offer. The only criticisms I could make are as follows. The ensuite of the master could do with being updated and the beds could all do with new mattresses. A great stay all round!

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this property in Praia da Luz. The location was ideal — only about a five-minute slow walk to a beautiful beach that, even during the eight days we were there, was never crowded. There were always plenty of chairs and shaded areas available, which made beach days incredibly relaxing.The town itself was wonderful and peaceful, while still being close enough to Lagos that an Uber or rideshare was only about 10, making day trips and dinners very easy.The apartment exceeded our expectations. It was gorgeous, immaculately maintained, and we had absolutely no issues during our stay. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with all the utensils and cookware we needed. A supermarket with everything we could possibly need was only about a ten-minute walk away.The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable with plenty of linens provided. Even during the heat, the house stayed naturally cool most of the time, and the mini-split heat pumps in each bedroom and the common area worked perfectly when needed.The pool area was one of the highlights for us — large, spotless, private, and beautifully maintained, with lots of loungers and shaded seating. Having direct pool access from two of the bedrooms was fantastic. The pool received sun from morning until early evening, which was perfect for our group.The owners and property manager were always available, responsive, and very helpful whenever we had questions. The welcome booklet was also complete.

Great accommodation for a family!

Property is as described and photos are accurate. Location is amazing ..... can walk everywhere. Close to beach, so when carrying towels etc it's not too far. Everything worked in the unit and lots of space. Only negative for us was kitchen is bare, no salt/pepper, no oil/basic spices, no paper towels. There was also minimal toilet paper. Our stay was 7 nights. Hindsights, I should have asked more questions. None of this had an effect in our great stay in Luz, and we would definitely return! Thank you for sharing your property with us!
