Two storey cedar shake open concept luxury home. Separate entrance. Air conditioning and heat with a heat pump upstairs. There is a local grocery store in Eastport. Whether you are visiting for business, family or vacation, this separate unit is the very best option for enjoyment and peace of mind. No young children<5 years.
Second story patio with a wonderful view over looking the water and woods. Open concept 28 feet by 26 feet room with kitchen, dining area, living room. Two bedrooms with queen size beds. Master bedroom has a small ensuite. Work out room with treadmill and pulley weight system. Large screen TV, >50 channel cable, internet viewing TV. Up to 100 MPBS internet speeds. We are on a well so water is excellent. Shower with multiple jets. Stainless steel fridge and Jennair oven and stove top with a grill. Dishwasher. Shared locked laundry room, no shared walls with granny suite. Private upper deck use with gorgeous views. Unique rounded oak ceiling! 1 mile walk to the downtown.

Great stay and spacious clean home. Lovely view and quiet area. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of towels and supplies. The local deer enjoy the nearby apple trees. We loved the carved whale door with its stained glass. The only thing worth mentioning is that the second bedroom uses a bathroom on a different level.

This house was one of the nicest properties I’ve stayed at in over 10 years of using VRBO. The location was perfect with a beautiful view. The house was very clean and spacious. Well stocked kitchen. Use the upstairs shower for an exhilarating shower.I wouldn’t advise walking to town as there are no sidewalks and it’s hilly.

Another great stay!

The house is alway clean. Our needs are met. Location is great if you wish to be away from downtown but walkable. Deck does have a view of the ocean. We always enjoy our stay and that is why we are repeat customers.

Impeccably clean and well maintained property. The only thing missing was a Keurig for the K-cups we brought for coffee. Owner instructions were clear and welcomed. Loved sitting on the deck and watching the world go by.

Great wedding weekend

This place is "wicked cool" as they say in MA, Beautiful tongue and groove wood ceiling and the outside porch view with glowing sunsets breathtaking! I loved all the little detailed sticky notes as to where everything is located. Joanne is very conscientious host and responded to any problems that came up. She did her best to rectify them. The upstairs was very cool/cold when we arrived. Personally I run hot by this I mean I'm always hot winter, spring, fall and especially summer. Hence, for me to point out it was cool/cold it's really saying something. I realize there may have been a heat wave of sorts like we did down in MA the week or so before we arrived. It could have been me figuring out how to work the system. The upstairs shower was modern with all the different jets and etc. However, my wife likes to take long hot showers and found that the hot water lasted only about five minutes before turning to cool and then just cold. I had trouble figuring how to stop the high ceiling fan rotating so fast. Easier or more detailed instructions on controlling the air-condition and having more hot water for those who love longer hot showers would be nice. If you are sensitive or have autoimmune issues with mildew/mold the master bath shower had a strong odor. I grew up on the water Gramps was a lobsterman in Manchester MA 1950's, my teen summers fishing & living aboard a cabin cruiser on the North Shore MA. I am familiar with that odor. I'm convinced Joanne will fix all these

Magnificent Views

Love this place! Check in was a breeze, no issues at all, The owner was very detailed with notes and little facts like: the Eagles nest to left off the deck (we unfortunately did not see) However there was a meteor shower that weekend that was very exciting. This property was excellent from start to finish. Perfect location to view the skies at night:) I will gladly rate this as a "Five Star" property. The Hauser's Quaker Hill CT.

Spa House

This house was even more beautiful in person! It was the best and most comfortable home we have ever rented. The shower had all kinds of jets and was spa-like.The beds were so comfortable, the home was stunning, we enjoyed coffee and wine on the deck over looking the trees and peak of water. We saw a bald eagle, twice! It flew right over our heads. The home provided spices and basic cooking essentials which we greatly appreciated. We were able to walk to the cute downtown area of Eastport and enjoyed the friendliness of people as we did so. I could go on and on about this place. It exceded our expectations.

Thank you for the review and glad you enjoyed your stay. The new roof that was delayed because of the weather is now complete! Made with recycled tires that look like stone shingles. The new master bedroom now has the ensuite bathroom and workout room attached as well.

Why they chose this property

We love our location for it's private setting that is especially quiet and so close to the water. Situated on top of a hill with wonderful water views and wooded back lot. Eastport is a wonderful community full of artists, history and beauty. We enjoy the hking, walking through town, and beach combing for sea glass, shells, stones etc.

What makes this property unique

Modern house with large 25 foot square open concept. Step out the French doors onto the second story patio to enjoy wondrous water views. Modern appliances with Jennair oven and stove with grill, dishwasher, laundry room, jet shower. Relax on the couch and chair and enjoy the large screen 50" TV, internet, basic cable. Such a wonderfully quiet location. Work out room. 2 bathrooms.
There is a granny suite apartment at the back that we rent out, listing # 3760692, (no shared walls). There is shared laundry room with locks both sides. The main house uses the upstairs outdoor patio privately, and the apartment uses the downstairs patio privately.
