The home is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable. The owners instructions were very clear and timely. I highly recommend this home for your Eastport visit.
The house is alway clean. Our needs are met. Location is great if you wish to be away from downtown but walkable. Deck does have a view of the ocean. We always enjoy our stay and that is why we are repeat customers.
A very nice place to stay, while visiting our daughter who lives in a nearby town. I would recommend this property to anyone coming up to the Eastport Area.
Impeccably clean and well maintained property. The only thing missing was a Keurig for the K-cups we brought for coffee. Owner instructions were clear and welcomed. Loved sitting on the deck and watching the world go by.
We always enjoy staying here. Very relaxing and quiet, just far enough out of town for a good walk in and back. Whoever does the cleaning does an excellent job! Have already booked another stay.
We loved our stay and appreciated the home. The accomodations exceeded our expectations. Easy ride into town and the owners were very accessible. Would use this home again. Quiet with a view.
We were in Eastport for a family wedding and this house was perfect for our weekend. The house was beautifully furnished, clean and the homeowner was very responsive to our needs.
Just as described. My most relaxing vacation ever. Cleanest place we've ever rented. Loved cooking in that kitchen, eating on the deck and the shower-wow.
The house was wonderful with all the modern conveniences and the stillness and quiet of nature from the 2nd floor deck.
Super convenient to the water and town of Eastport as well. Highly recommend it to others wanting to experience Eastport and have the luxury of an immaculate space to stay.
This house was even more beautiful in person! It was the best and most comfortable home we have ever rented. The shower had all kinds of jets and was spa-like.The beds were so comfortable, the home was stunning, we enjoyed coffee and wine on the deck over looking the trees and peak of water. We saw a bald eagle, twice! It flew right over our heads. The home provided spices and basic cooking essentials which we greatly appreciated. We were able to walk to the cute downtown area of Eastport and enjoyed the friendliness of people as we did so. I could go on and on about this place. It exceded our expectations.
Love this place!
Check in was a breeze, no issues at all, The owner was very detailed with notes and little facts like: the Eagles nest to left off the deck (we unfortunately did not see) However there was a meteor shower that weekend that was very exciting.
This property was excellent from start to finish. Perfect location to view the skies at night:)
I will gladly rate this as a "Five Star" property.

Very nice, obviously still under construction. Didn't have communication with property management so tried to leave question blank.

Thank you for the review and glad you enjoyed your stay. The new roof that was delayed because of the weather is now complete! Made with recycled tires that look like stone shingles. The new master bedroom now has the ensuite bathroom and workout room attached as well.
For us, it is how a place makes us feel. As soon as I walked in the door, I exhaled, went upstairs to the main living area, smiled and said, “ I love it here”. It was our 3rd stay, so very familiar. Our hosts are awesome and continue to add to the experience. We enjoy being able to walk to downtown- it is a walk. This year, we invited our daughter’s in-laws to stay part for the time with us so they could enjoy seeing our shared grandchildren enjoy Eastport’s 4th of July. They also loved the place and couldn’t believe how quiet it was and were amazed at how well they slept. We highly recommend this place and the hosts !
We loved our time in this home! Jeanne was super easy to get in touch with, and even though there was a mixup with her cleaner, she went above and beyond to make sure the mistake was made right. The home was very comfortable & the view from the upper deck is gorgeous. The bed we used was very comfortable as well and the workout room was a nice perk! Just be aware that there is another downstairs back apartment, so you'll want to keep the back bedroom sliding door curtain closed as it goes out to the deck for the back apartment. It didn't cause us any trouble but just be aware people you don't know could be back there! :) We enjoyed going down to Eastport to enjoy the shops and restaurants, and of course the harbor. I definitely recommend!
The house is artistically decorated with a lovely deck (bird watching!), living room and rather tight kitchen, but the strangeness comes from the bathroom being 1-1/2 flights of stairs up from the small, dark bedroom downstairs. There is a large window in the foyer with a view of the road that welcomes you (!) when you come out of the bathroom and walk the stairs. But it's a lonely road, so not really a big deal. Eastport is WAY up there, but we enjoyed touring the interesting area and Raye's mustard shop and restaurants too. Hope to go out on the Jolly Breeze, the owner's whale watching ship docked in New Brunswick someday...

In 2021 we have added a large master bedroom which has an ensuite bathroom and a separate workout room! it is now a two bedroom unit. We also added a heat pump air conditioner on the main level. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay, the views and wildlife! I would like to clarify a couple of the comments. This is a two story home so 1 1/2 flights of stairs would not be possible, though the stairs do have a landing so that might be where the confusion lies. The bedroom is 12 feet by 12 feet with a queen size bed, an armoir and two chairs as in the pictures. The full size double windows are south facing with lots of sun during the daytime. There are black out curtains which can be pulled back or closed depending if you like the morning sunlight waking you up or not! The bedroom walls are white and the floors are made of real, environmental no VOC, light colored bamboo. What makes this home so special is that the living area is on the second story with the great views to enjoy during the waking hours.
Thank you for staying with us and we hope that you do return for a whale watching tour in the future! Just one of the very special things to do in our area.
There were issues with 4 doors privacy and security. Exterlor deck door handle fell out. Sliding bathroom door would slide shut. Bedroom door knob was taped so couldn’t lock it. Front entry door opener and closed very poorly
Spent over one hour set up cable and TV connection

Thank you for your 4/5 star review Paula. We are glad you enjoyed the deck views and your stay in Eastport. We appreciate you bringing to our attention to the second story patio door lock. It was the first we heard about it and there was a loose screw that Rob fixed right away. The patio has high quality Anderson 3 panel French doors and lock. The front door, patio and laundry room all have deadbolt locks which are good security. (no alarm system which is not standard for a vacation rental). The bedroom door lock has tape only because people lock themselves out by accident otherwise and this prevents that! The TV has internet capability with Netflix, Hulu, Prime and Roku. Most people appreciate that advantage, especially those with longer stays and our younger guests, however some do find it more complicated to navigate if they are not used to it. Easy fix is to unplug the unit and reset it as it comes back to the TV automatically. The beautiful sliding bathroom door was made locally in Eastport with hand carved whales and stained glass. Hope you appreciated their beautiful art! Regards, Joanne
We loved our stay in Eastport and in this beautiful home. Only had one slight problem when we locked ourselves out of the bedroom - Yikes! Joanne was quick to respond and a neighbor, Melissa, came to the rescue with keys. Would very much recommend to anyone wanting a quiet location and an ultra comfortable bed.
The house is fabulous, everything you could ever need or want is there. We had a great and peaceful 4 days at this property.

Why they chose this property
We love our location for it's private setting that is especially quiet and so close to the water. Situated on top of a hill with wonderful water views and wooded back lot. Eastport is a wonderful community full of artists, history and beauty. We enjoy the hking, walking through town, and beach combing for sea glass, shells, stones etc.
What makes this property unique
Modern house with large 25 foot square open concept. Step out the French doors onto the second story patio to enjoy wondrous water views. Modern appliances with Jennair oven and stove with grill, dishwasher, laundry room, jet shower. Relax on the couch and chair and enjoy the large screen 50" TV, internet, basic cable. Such a wonderfully quiet location. Work out room. 2 bathrooms. There is a granny suite apartment at the back that we rent out, listing # 3760692, (no shared walls). There is shared laundry room with locks both sides. The main house uses the upstairs outdoor patio privately, and the apartment uses the downstairs patio privately.
