Welcome home to Seaside Village. Our beautiful apartment and townhome community nestled in the heart of Galveston, Texas. We are just a short trip from Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark, the Pleasure Pier, the Strand, fine dining, and abundant shopping. With nearby Gulf Freeway 45 and our central island location, your commute will be the last thing on your mind. Come enjoy Galveston Island in your spacious stress-free vacation rental! This is not a party place and no events are parties, loud music or intrusive behavior will be allowed.

Our expectations are high and it’s truly important to us that all of our guests have a wonderful experience and stay.

Our VRBO has recently been updated with new mattresses, new pillows, updated furniture, new accessories, new washer and dryer, new refrigerator and dishwasher, new light fixtures, new ceiling fans, new paint and more!

This is a beautiful condo is on the second floor and is a townhouse so there are stairs. Pool viewThere is no elevator access and I just like to put this out here because some of the ratings that I have received as a four were only because it was a second-floor apartment with stairs and they did not see it in the description so I have added it in multiple places. It is not handicap accessible.

Great place for a beach getaway! Everything was as described. Walking distance to many restaurants, shops and the beach, and short drive to Stewart Beach, East Beach and The Strand. Condo had everything you would need to make meals in. Pool was great, and we were the only ones in it during the weekdays we were there! Check in and check out were very easy! We would love to come back! Galveston is a wonderful place!

The location is fantastic but the condo itself is not quite as nice as the pictures and description leads you to believe . The furnishings are worn, carpets stained, rust on the ceiling in the bathroom, refrigerator was not clean and had rusty shelves in the freezer, lightbulbs out in the bathroom as well as an unsecured tile on the bathroom floor- strategically covered by a floor mat- just to name a few. The condo is musty smelling when you arrive- we had to buy two candles to burn to try and remedy the smell. The jacuzzi at the pool is broken. Oddly, the temperature in the second bedroom is noticeably warmer than the primary bedroom although it is controlled by the same thermostat. Finally there are things that you must do before you leave- like run the dishwasher, strip all the beds and remove all trash- only to be charged a 175 cleaning fee, which obviously isn’t used to clean well since there was a dried drop of blood on the floor in the primary bathroom. We were accommodated with an hour early check in but that probably the most positive thing we experienced with this condo. We reached out to the owner the first day only to be ignored. If you are will to forsake all the things listed then this place could be great just for the location.

Regarding the mark noted in the primary bathroom, we reviewed this closely and have photo documentation confirming it was a small chip in the ceramic tile, not what was described. We take maintenance seriously and address issues promptly, including the pool spa heater, which was resolved as soon as we were made aware, since mechanical failures can occur despite regular upkeep. The guests staying immediately before and after this reservation each left five star reviews with no issues reported. We're glad the check-in experience went smoothly and wish you well.

We’re sorry to hear this guest felt dissatisfied with their stay. The hot tub issue was reported during a major holiday period, and we took immediate steps to address it despite service providers being unavailable at that time. Concerns regarding public areas or interactions with permanent residents were not communicated through the VRBO messaging platform during the stay, which limited our ability to address them in real time. We have hosted guests at this property for over five years without similar issues. The property and common areas are professionally maintained and cleaned daily with the exceptions of public holidays when business are closed. We are on the beach and heavy winds are almost daily especially during winter season and cold fronts push through. We stand firm and remain committed to providing a safe, well-maintained, and positive experience for our guests.

Seaside Village is a small complex in the best location. Not only are you within walking distance to the beach, your favorite restaurants and shopping... but you can enjoy a front row seat to events like 4th of July Fireworks and Mardi Gras.

This VRBO has been here for some time. We as new owners of the complex purchased in November 2020 recently took over. We have done a ton of updates to the community as well as the interior of our VRBO. Our fabulous new pool was just remodeled and all new pool furniture.

As an independent owner/operator we take pride in our communities and rentals whether it be short term or long term. Communication is key and we want all our guests to have a wonderful experience.
