This property is simply darling! Welcome to Quaint Carmel, a lovely backyard studio nestled in the highly acclaimed neighborhood of Carmel-by-the-Sea.



The Space:

This sweet escape is ideal for a solo traveler or couple who are looking forward to exploring the area's noteworthy attractions and returning to a quiet retreat at night. This is a studio behind the main house. You'll have your own parking space and entry. The walkway back to the unit is shared.



This studio home is intimate, with every square inch of space designed intentionally to maximize functionality and flow so you can enjoy a high level of comfort.



The kitchen is equipped with appliances and additional kitchenware such as a toaster and coffee maker for your convenience.



The home sleeps up to 2 guests in a Queen size bed, tucked into a quiet sleeping nook. Between the sleeping and living areas, you’ll find a small storage area for your belongings as well as towels and linens. A full bathroom with a shower/tub combo is located just off the sleeping nook.



This property is located in Carmel-by-the-Sea, a quaint town of just one square mile that has been recognized as a place of beauty and romance. While the town is small, there’s no shortage of art galleries, boutiques, specialty shops, fine dining options, and more! The property is also in the center of several nearby golf courses - ideal for those who are looking to hit the links! Scenic spots and pristine beaches are also within arm's reach so you can take advantage of time outside. Noteworthy places of interest include Sunset Center (1.1 miles), Pacific Repertory Theatre (1.2 miles), Carmel Beach (1.6 miles), and Pescadero Point (5 miles).

• This is a studio behind the main house. There are three dwellings, the main house and two studio units.

Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested. Cozy Bungalow

Loved this cute Vrbo in a quiet Carmel neighborhood. We loved walking about 20 mins into town and the easily available parking spot I front of the house. Initially had a few issues with the unit the first night, but it was quickly resolved by the management property.

Weekend Aquarium Getaway

Location of this property is great! An included parking spot is a plus as street parking is limited due to the small streets. It's located close to everything you might want to do in the area.My only suggestion is to change the shower liner more often - the one there while we stayed had mildew/mold build up (eh it happens), but it didn't dampen our weekend at all. Great place overall!

Surprised by the sleeping area

The description is "queen size bed, tucked into a quiet sleeping corner". The bed is crammed against the walls on 3 sides, and is about hip height. Climbing in and out was a struggle. Inadequate wall sound-proofing meant we were awakened when the adjacent residents started their day, 6:30 and 7AM.

Lovely little place just a few blocks outside of town. Easy freeway access and also a 15 min walk from downtown Carmel.Our little suite was super tiny but we enjoyed the intimate setting. Also we were barely there, but it was cozy to sleep in. the kitchenette is loaded with useful stuff. We also made use of the guest manual to find a beautiful hike.One tip and only reason I’m not giving five stars across the board is there’s a light behind the showerhead which definitely doesn’t turn off from the inside of the unit. We tried every switch in the house. The rental company did not know how to turn it off either so I just gently unscrewed it and screwed it back in when we left. Problem solved!

Get Away

My husband and I booked the Quaint Bungalow for our Anniversary and it was just what we needed. More affordable than a hotel with nice privacy. Quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors, convenient parking, a short distance from downtown and Hwy 1. All the amenities you need for two guests and plenty of space. Check in was easy and the property manager was quick to respond. The space itself was simple but clean and comfortable. Great stay!

Cute base for our anniversary getaway

Everything was clean and functional. Sitting on the couch, I loved the view of an old oak tree draped in lichen. Climbing into the bed made me feel like a kid again building a fort! Super quiet neighborhood

Quiet Carmel hideaway

Very cute studio with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay, including a super comfy couch. There were even some coffee pods to get us through the first morning! It's a bit far from downtown so a car is generally necessary, but it's a short drive. Also we came on an unusually hot week and it was really hot inside the apartment, but they provide a fan to help a bit.

Horrible experience we moved after one night the windows wouldn’t open. There was mold all over the shower curtain suffocatingly small unresponsive hosts emailed about several things. They never got back to me. Didn’t honor a refund when we left after the mold my husband is immuno compromised and we can’t be an unsafe stays like this truly makes me rethink going back to hotels, which is exactly what we did.

Nice but….

Location of the property was nice and convenient including parking. However, TV was marginally operative along with the Internet and microwave didn’t work at all. Need better toilet paper and extra towels since there’s no way to wash them.

Decent place to lay your head

Very small, which we knew going in. Just in town for the week and needed a place to sleep. The good: Great neighborhood, super close to town, stores, etc. The bad: Not as up to date as listing would have you velieve. Some poor finish carpentry on the interior, ineffective use of space, bathroom shower head sprays out on to the floor. Property owner is very friendly and welcoming. Wifi is not up to par, as it was barely enough to eun youtube. Not a bad place to sleep, but not worth the money in my humble opinion.
