Our team is always readily available, and we take pride in responding promptly and attentively whenever a guest reaches out, as this allows us the opportunity to resolve any matters in real time. Regarding your arrival, we sincerely apologize that final preparations were still being completed. This is not typical of our usual check-in experience, and the brief presence of our maintenance team was to ensure everything was in proper working order for your comfort. With respect to the pool, it is professionally maintained on a regular schedule. We did not receive any notice during your stay that there was an issue, and without that communication, we were not given the opportunity to investigate or resolve it. Had we been advised, our team would have responded immediately. We also note your comments about the home’s condition. Hideaway Villa is a well-maintained private home in a beautiful island setting, and we continue to invest in meaningful upgrades—including the installation of new hurricane-rated windows and doors in October 2025—as part of our ongoing commitment to guest comfort and safety. The overwhelming majority of our guests consistently rate their experience as exceptional, which reflects the level of care and attention given to the villa. We are, however, very pleased to hear that you enjoyed the location and that Cady made a positive impression—she truly reflects the warm, welcoming spirit we strive to offer all of our guests. We are only less than 3 mins or 248 yards to be specific to the sandy shores of Grace Bay, the glistening, gin clear waters and AMAZING SNORKELLING right off the beach. The spaciousness of the villa makes for great comfort and relaxation coupled with the private salt water swimming Pool. We do want to sincerely apologize for the cloudy pool during your visit. This is certainly not the standard we aim for. After looking into it further, we believe there may have been a miscommunication during your conversation with our housekeeping team. We want to reassure you that our painters never clean their brushes in the pool — that would not be acceptable. It’s possible the pool cloudiness was related to seasonal changes or increased use, but we’ve since had our maintenance team perform a full inspection and treatment to ensure it's in perfect condition moving forward. As for the friendly neighborhood dogs, while they’re not on the property regularly, we appreciate you noting it. We'll continue monitoring the situation and look into ways to prevent them from wandering near the villa in the evenings.
