PERFECT property for a short or longer stay in the Dallas County area. Way, way better than commuting from Des Moines or other surrounding towns. Very nice and comfortable renovation of a classic early 1900’s home!

Great spot in Iowa.

Needed a multiple night location for two adults.This location fit the bill! Was close to where we were working. Dallas Center is a short drive to about anything you need. Able to visit a couple local spots, all good. Will check out availability next time in area.Thanks

Friends weekend

We loved the size of the house. We each had our own bedroom. The rooms were all so nice. We loved watching TV and movies on the couch that you can expand out.We ate out at two restaurants and the food was great and you got a lot! The prices were really good. We spent our days in Urbandale and Ankeny! It was a great place and we hated to leave.

Mayberry!

Dallas Center is such a quaint little town. The house is exactly as described. It is quiet and peaceful. I sat on the front porch having my coffee every morning while watching the squirrels and rabbits and listening to the birds, including an owl. We felt like we were in Mayberry! It is an easy drive to the house but it is a little way out. We didn’t mind because it was so peaceful. The hosts responded to messages very quickly and were very accommodating. It was a pleasure to rent from them.

Peaceful Stay

Located in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Access to the home was excellent and parking close to entry. Our host was very responsive and accommodating. The home floor plan makes it a great place to entertain family and friends. Our beds were comfortable and quality towels and paper products were provided. Close by we found the Handle Bar restaurant with excellent food and friendly service. In down town we found several shops with small business operators who were friendly, service oriented and proud of their small community. And if you need peaceful solitude, the library offers many services and a place to research the community around you!

House was clean and comfortable. There was a storm when we arrived and power to the area was out, the host was very quick to respond to us. Power was restored by power company quickly. I was impressed with the quick response and care from the host
