The host was very responsive, informative and communicated very clearly. The spaces were appointed very well, with comfortable beds and unique artwork. There were ample amenities in the bathrooms and kitchen.
This is a charming and comfortable house -- clean and well-appointed, and ideally located in the heart of East Nashville, just a short walk from numerous restaurants and bars, and a quick ride across the river to Broadway and the sights of downtown. Our host was super responsive and made sure all of our needs were met. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next time we return to Nashville.
The wifi password was provided in the greeting message and if the guest had reached out and asked, I could have given it to them again. Odd to receive this complaint AFTER checkout.
We enjoyed staying here. Clean and loads of space. It was extremely cold during our stay and the host made sure we had good heat. Fun decor. Only a short uber ride to downtown and lots of other spots. Would stay here again.
Beautiful home with lots of space for my large crew. Nice, quiet neighborhood close to Broadway and walking distance for morning coffee. The host quickly responded to all questions. A quick but pleasant stay.
Such a great home in a prime East Nashville location that was perfect for our group in town for a wedding. House was charming, spacious and Drew was extremely communicative with answering any questions. We will be back!
My friends and I were passing through Nashville on a road trip through Tennessee. Great location, close to downtown. Wish we had more time to explore East Nashville. The home had everything we needed.
Needed a place to stop and rest on our way to our next destination. Drew's house was the perfect place. The beds very comfy and the whole house was clean. I appreciated that. We traveled with our 2 kiddos. We were able to stretch out and unwind. Thank you for hosting us.
We used the house as a headquarters for a 40th and 21st birthday weekend in Nashville. House was perfect! Spacious, clean, great location. Drew was very responsive and his communication was great. Location was perfect for getting around both East Nashville and downtown. Would stay here again!
This beautiful home was perfect for 3 couples to stay & enjoy Nashville. Well stocked kitchen, private bedrooms & each couple had their own bathroom. I would say that the bath towels really need upgrading. Also, be aware that you will get a very long list with a LOT of uppercase rules long after a you have committed, some seeming a little ridiculous. None impacted our stay but a few seem unnecessary. Drew must’ve had some negative experiences in the past, however this would not keep me from returning. You will love the neighborhood with a few local Nashville restaurants in walking distance (Mas Taco & The Pharmacy are really good)

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Disliked: Check-in
Hard to rate this one. Home is in an excellent location - nice neighborhood, older homes with lots of character. Photos of the property are not entirely accurate in that the condition of the home particularly the outdoor deck and backyard is not what was expected based on photos - old furniture and not maintained. Kitchen amenities were poor - limited glassware and dishes for 8 people. The host sends a very lengthy check-in list of instructions that includes requests that you not use the washer/dryer without permission, do not move furniture, etc. which is somewhat off-putting but otherwise, the check-in process was straight-forward.Our biggest issue had to do with communication. When we arrived the upstairs master bedroom A/C was not working and the temp in the room was 90. We contacted the host and he indicated that he was "off the grid" and unavailable for communication during the weekend - he indicated that he had informed us of this but he had not. He was clearly bothered by the inconvenience that this was causing him rather than us. Ultimately, he did get an HVAC person to come out for an emergency. For the right group and under the right circumstances, I am sure that this home/host would be a good fit. Not for us.

Response from Management on 22 October 2026
This was the most troubling guest experience I have had in over 11 years as a short term rental host. I bent over backwards to make them happy and solve an AC issue that came up during their stay. I was off grid at a bachelor party In Utah, which I DID inform them about ahead of time, and supplied them with the contact info for a local co-host who could respond to their every need while I was separated from cell service. They did not bother to check their email or VRBO messages ahead of time. I left the group to get into town so that I could get yelled at by them for nearly 15 minutes, all the while trying to get off the phone so that I could call an AC repair company. But they weren't interested in allowing me to problem solve or get back to my trip (and pass them off to my dedicated co-host) - they just wanted to verbally accost me. Once the call finally ended, I was able to get someone out within 2 hours to solve the problem while they were at dinner. They were extremely demanding and impolite despite my best efforts to solve the issue and make them happy. Please take their review with a grain of salt and take into account all of the numerous 5 star reviews. If you are reading this, I can assure you - I will make your stay in Nashville a great one!
Drew’s historic home in East Nashville was perfect for our needs and our family. Our party consisted of five adults and four kids ranging from age seven to sixteen and the house was just the right size. The description and photos were accurate and I was very pleased with the quick responses from Drew to any of my questions. I found him to be conscientious, considerate, and professional. His home was within 10-15 minute drive to everywhere we wanted to go in Nashville; lots of restaurant and shopping options are very close by. His home was clean, well appointed, had cool artwork throughout, and smelled good. The beds were comfortable and the showers were relaxing with good water pressure. I enjoyed cooking on the gas stove and I appreciated having water and ice on the door of the fridge. Everything in the kitchen was convenient and within reach. Parking was plentiful on the street or on the left-hand of the shared driveway. Our family was very pleased with everything Drew provided us in his home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to others.
