The location is amazing - we enjoyed being able to walk to Harvard square easily and the view of the river was great. The first night the central heat wasn’t working but Mike promptly fixed it. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was mostly fine and functional though only the two small burners worked on the stove. It’s a third floor walk up.

The space was so nice and warm, especially for December in Boston. The bed was so comfortable that we had no problems sleeping, and we are chronic insomniacs. It has off street parking and is close enough to Harvard Square that you can walk to everything there. This is definitely going to be our regular stay when we visit again.

Definitely mold, one guest who had a mold allergy couldn’t breathe properly there. Old contact lenses and nose ring were left from previous guests. You block other tenants in the off street parking so if someone needs to get out, you have to get back from the city to move your car. Heat definitely did not work. Only positive was the location,

We enjoyed our stay here for a football weekend. The location (easy walk to Harvard Square) was a highlight, and it was a good value. Note that as the host mentions, it is an older building and so it has some quirks, particularly the stairs which might not be great for folks who have mobility issues. We'll seek this place out again if in the area.

The apartment was in a great location. Walking distance to Harvard Square. The beds need new mattresses. Need places to put your luggage. The sitting room was inadequate for five people. The stairs to the unit was challenging. The heating unit did not work so the manager brought over three space heaters. Glad we only stayed there for only one night. Would not recommend for a family.

Great location. Woke in the morning to the sound of rowers outside in the river! Like other reviews mentioned, the oven & some burners do not work. Also, if you have more than 4 people, you might want to bring extra sheets. Lots of blankets, but no additional sheets although advertised as "sleeps 6".

The Property was charming and clean. It was close to Harvard Square and the Campus at a reasonable price. The owner was reachable and helped out with questions. It was very warm when we arrived and the A/C was not working. Opening the windows and with couple of portable fans helped to cool down. Kitchen was nice and clean.

Rowers on the Charles!

Comfortable, well stocked and quiet apartment. Great view of rowers on the Charles. Only about a 10 minute walk to the T in Harvard Square. Off street parking is a huge bonus. Driveway is tight and it could be a problem if there were several cars, but not for us as we mostly left the car. There are two flights of stairs, but they are well lit and manageable.
