Located in a quiet island neighborhood, this one bedroom, open concept cottage is within walking distance of the ferry, restaurants, grocery store and waterfront. Walk from the ferry to the lobster shack and home to dinner, in a matter of minutes. Perfect for a couple or small family, the cottage features a fully equipped kitchen with gas range and full-size refrigerator. There are covered front and back porches with outdoor seating and a gas grill.

The living room has a couch and a smart TV . There is WIFI. This fully renovated, mid-century cottage has a small bathroom with a shower. The bedroom has a queen size bed and wardrobe closet. Access to two bicycles can be made with prior arrangement. Parking for one vehicle is available.

Adorable cottage, perfect for 2 people, impeccably clean , great location, very well stocked with everything you would need. The only reason I wouldn’t give it a 10 is privacy. Some blinds were broken or short and one big window in kitchen had no covering at all and faced a very close neighbor.

Lovely small cottage. Perfect for my quick stay. However there a few things I didn’t understand inside the house and neighbors were a bit noisy…but it was the weekend and I understood.

Fun long weekend

We had a great time at the charming cottage! Perfect in size for us and our golden retriever who loved walking and swimming in Peaks. The cottage had all the basic amenities and very clear instructions on check-in and check-out!

Beautiful Island

Great location, just a little walk from the ferry we did bring our car but that was to transport our bikes and luggage. Our little cottage was a wonderful place to relax just enough room. It was very clean and enough supplies.

An Oasis

We were trying to salvage our Maine vacation, which had started off badly. We decided to try to find a place on Peaks Island because we love it there. Due to our absolute panic, we screwed up a few times trying to book and booked several different days (and even years). The owner, Jane, was very patient and, at the end of the process, we were able to enjoy the last 4 nights of our vacation in comfort and peace. This sweet little house was perfect for two people. Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful front porch for sipping tea, reading and waving to the neighbors. Lovely dining area on the back porch. There are close neighbors, but their outdoor spaces faced away from ours so, although we occasionally saw them, none of us were in each others personal vacation space. Lovely neighborhood, a short walk from both the town and the ocean. We were really impressed with this house and will book it again! Thank you, Jane.

Restful and Fun

Cottage was just as presented online. It had all the needed essentials and easy instructions for what was expected for my, my daughter’s and granddaughter’s first visit. Walking distance to “ town” was doable for me as a senior citizen and fun for the 2 1/2 year old with us! Loved it so much, we’ve already start thinking about a next time there. Thanks Jane!

Exactly what I had hoped for

This property is cozy and adorable. It was the perfect little get-away. Conveniently located near down front of Peaks. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The home was very clean and set at a very comfortable temperature when we arrived. It had everything we needed for our few-day stay. I would absolutely stay here again in the future. Peak's Island Fantastic Cottage!

This is our second stay at this cottage with our big dog. We love it! Exactly as described - cozy and comfortable. Easy access getting in and a short, clear list to check out. Great spot!
