We enjoyed our stay. The seating and beds were comfortable and the hot tub was a great way to end a day of hiking.

Very clean residence with well thought out amenities. Hot tub and fire pit were super fun. Beds very comfortable. Washer and drier were very helpful after a day of hiking in the park and then a fireside smores roast and a hot tub soak. It was a beautiful summer night under the stars! Location of the residence is literally directly across from the state park entrance. Classy kitchen that was well stocked with utensils and accoutrements. We would HIGHLY recommend this location to future travelers - great family spot and a great place for a gathering.

Great spot, everything was new and clean. A nice site, a little out of town and near the entrance to Pipestem Resort State Park. Check out the Bluestone Dining Room at McKeever Lodge if you want a good meal in the area. The views at sunset from the dining room are amazing. We hiked the Brushcreek Falls, not far away, and enjoyed the Brush Creek Holl'r Mountain Coaster near the falls. A great place to stay if you want to be closer to nature than a hotel. I wish we had time to try out the hot tub and fire pit, but we were there looking for housing for Concord University.

8/10 Good

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Location
The house was clean, modern, and well maintained. The location in a Cottage/Trailer Area was not what we expected near rural Pipestem State Park. The Dwellings were close together so no view and no privacy outside. The inconvenient access and location of the very nice hot tub discouraged our use of it. Inside the house was very nice and comfortable.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. 😀 While you may not wish to sleep more ,it does sleep the amount listed . (2 per bed) Personally we use this location when we visit ourselves with 6 people. It’s ideal for families with children needing the extra room to sleep children without the extra cost of a bigger rental.
