Our stay was short but the space fit our family. It was a very peaceful location. The beds were a bit on the uncomfortable side but other than that we enjoyed our stay.
Great place to stay with family. The kitchen has all the amenities I needed. The living room is big and cozy. The bedrooms are as they should be with lots of storage space. Bathrooms are clean and shower is great!
It is a little tricky finding this rural property after dark. Don't rely on your GPS. The host's written directions are exact. The host was very available and responsive to our questions. This quite secluded property is lovely. I would stay here again.
This is a great place to stay, very quiet and away from neighbors, i loved the peacefulness. If I'm in the area again, will definitely see if this one is available again
Everything was just lovely. There was an abundance of privacy and beautiful countryside. The hosts were prompt in their responses to make us feel comfortable. Nice sized bedrooms and baths. Comfortable beds and couches. Overall an A experience.
We really liked sitting outside in the quiet, listening to the birds and crickets. We liked the space in that house, too, with two living areas and two rooms separate from the other two rooms. It seemed lots newer and cleaner than we anticipated.
The property was delightful! Plenty of room to spread out and a feeling of home for the 4 of us. Our host very responsive to any requests or questions we had! Such a peaceful and relaxing place! request or question we hrequest
Great location for viewing the Sandhill Crane migration
Three of us stayed at this location and were delighted with how close we were to view the Sandhill Cranes in the Spring. The house was great for spreading ourselves out and having comfort in bed accommodations, dining (cooking dinner ourselves), and just relaxing. It was very, very peaceful and a quiet location, which we sincerely appreciated. We would go back there again. Thank you!

Linda,
So glad to have you and that you got to see the cranes. Appreciate your comments and we'd love to have you back next year.

The property location is a quiet and pleasant area to relax. The space is roomy and perfect to share with another couple or small family. The cleanliness could have been better as everything was dusty inside and there were dead bugs on the kitchen counters. A touch up clean before guest arrival is all that was needed. Overall will stay again when in the area

About the host
Your host
We are a 4th generation farming family whose ownership of this property dates to 1870's. We love the quiet prairie views from our secluded homestead and are looking to share it with others in the area, either a short stop over or an extended stay.
Why they chose this property
Our ancestors came to Nebraska following other family members and to change careers from railroading to farming.
What makes this property unique
It is secluded, in the center of a section of farmland. That makes it extra quiet and relaxing for guests.
