Welcome to Incredible View Chalet — Your Fall Front-Row Seat in the Smokies Fall is when the Smokies put on their greatest show, and this modern 3-story chalet gives you a front-row seat. From late September through October the hillsides ignite in reds, oranges, and golds, and the chalet's east-facing decks catch both the sunrise and the color at their most spectacular. Soak in your private swim spa as autumn leaves drift down, barbecue at the gas firepit dining table with the blazing hillsides as your backdrop, and end each night with s'mores at the upper-deck firepit under crisp, starry skies. As one October guest put it: "Beautiful views from all the porches, recently renovated and gorgeous interior."

Bedrooms & Bathrooms Both king suites sit on the upper level, each with a private ensuite and direct access to the upper deck — morning sunrise over fall color is steps from your bed. The primary suite features a spa-like walk-in shower; the second suite has a deep soaking tub, perfect after a crisp evening outdoors. Between them, a cosy reading nook overlooks the front — ideal for slow mornings. The lower-level bunk room delights kids with queen-over-queen bunks, a climbing wall (adult supervision required), and its own private bathroom. All bathrooms are stocked with full-size toiletries — no tiny hotel bottles.

Main Living Space The open-concept main level is anchored by a striking 3-sided electric fireplace — just right for cool fall evenings — with plush leather seating, a 65" Smart TV, and autumn views filling the windows. The gourmet kitchen features stainless steel appliances and a peninsula with bar stools, while the coffee bar (espresso machine, French press, and Keurig Duo serving K-pods and full carafe) makes crisp fall mornings a ritual. The dining table seats 8.

Game Room — Endless Entertainment The lower-level game room is a full entertainment setup: pool table, multicade arcade with 60+ classic games, Golden Tee golf, board games, and a 65" Smart TV with leather sofa seating. As one guest put it: "The game room, rock climbing wall, and outdoor hot tub kept them busy the entire stay."

Outdoor Living — Three Decks, Three Experiences The upper deck's firepit lounge is made for s'mores and stargazing in the crisp autumn air. The main deck is your outdoor living room: gas firepit dining table for six, gas grill, hanging egg chair, and outdoor TV — barbecue, catch the game, or watch the sunset melt over the fiery ridgeline. The lower deck holds the private swim spa: warm water, cool air, falling leaves, and panoramic mountain color in every direction. As one October guest put it: "The swim spa was our favorite."

Family-Friendly From the Start A pack 'n play, highchair, baby bathtub, and kid-friendly dinnerware are all provided, and cornhole in the driveway keeps everyone entertained.

Practical Comforts High-speed Wi-Fi, dedicated workspace, washer/dryer, driveway parking for 2 vehicles with overflow parking at the end of the street, and a Level 2 EV charger (Tesla owners, please bring your own adapter). Self check-in via smart lock.

Chalet Village Clubhouse Access Guests have access to three Chalet Village clubhouses. Pools are seasonal (Memorial Day–Labor Day); fall guests can enjoy the North Clubhouse's tennis court and two pickleball courts (year-round — bring your own equipment) and the South Baden Clubhouse's fitness center. Hi, I'm Joyce — a passionate traveler based in the breathtaking Smoky Mountains! I manage a selection of Smoky Mountain vacation rentals that offer guests an unforgettable blend of relaxation and adventure. Each property is thoughtfully crafted for a comfortable stay — whether you're relaxing by the fireplace on the patio, enjoying the game room, or soaking in the mountain views over a morning coffee.
I look forward to welcoming you and making your stay a memorable part of your own travel story!

Why they chose this property

Chalet Village on Ski Mountain is one of the most sought-after residential pockets in Gatlinburg — and for good reason. It sits elevated above the town, which means you get genuine mountain views without being tucked deep into the woods. The neighborhood is quiet, private, and well-maintained, yet downtown Gatlinburg is just a short drive down the mountain. Great Smoky Mountains National Park is practically at the doorstep. What drew us to this location is the balance it strikes — you feel completely away from it all, surrounded by nature and mountain air, while still being close enough to restaurants, attractions, and everything Gatlinburg has to offer. The Ski Mountain address also means guests are just 2 miles from Ober Mountain, which makes it a year-round destination rather than just a summer retreat. Bears roam the neighborhood regularly, the sunrises over the eastern ridgeline are something guests talk about long after they leave, and the winding mountain roads give the arrival experience a sense of occasion that flat-lander guests consistently mention in reviews.

What makes this property unique

Most Smoky Mountain rentals offer a hot tub and a game room — and stop there. This chalet layers experiences across three full levels in a way that gives every guest in the group their own space and their own reason to love the stay. The east-facing deck orientation is genuinely rare — most properties in Gatlinburg face west or have obscured sightlines, so waking up to the sunrise breaking over the Smoky Mountain ridgeline every single morning from your own deck is something guests don't expect and never forget. The three-level deck system means you can soak in the private swim spa on the lower deck, barbecue and watch the game on the outdoor TV at the main deck, and stargaze around the firepit on the upper deck — all in the same evening. Both king suites are on the upper level with direct deck access, making it ideal for two couples or multi-generational families who want equal comfort without compromising. The rock climbing wall in the bunk room is a genuine crowd-pleaser that kids gravitate to immediately. The reading nook tucked between the two suites is the kind of quiet detail that solo readers and early risers appreciate deeply. And the modern design throughout — floating vanities, pendant lighting, 3-sided fireplace, peninsula kitchen — sits a step above the rustic log cabin aesthetic that dominates this market, appealing to guests who want the mountain setting without sacrificing contemporary comfort.
