A gem in the Tennessee mountains! So glad we chose to stay here. Hosts were exceptional and so were the accomodations. So peaceful, relaxing and everything we could have dreamed. Bed was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Starlink internet kept us connected. Absolutely will stay here again. Thank you for such a wonderful VRBO experience!

Thank you for the nice review! It was our pleasure to have you as guests.
My stay was beyond excellent. The owners were exceptionally nice and accommodating. The property was exactly as described and very comfortable. Considering how remote the property was, I was extremely impressed with the internet and was even able to work remotely.I'll definitely be back.

Thank you so much. We are so happy you enjoyed our little slice of heaven. God bless.
Beautiful little apartment with a great view. It is located in the yard of the primary residence of the owners. Owners are great people who will give you local information about the area. They will interact with you if you desire or give you complete privacy. The place was exceptionally clean and cozy.

About the host
Hosted by Bruce and Marie Alberque
Marie is a retired labor and delivery nurse. Bruce is a Retired Navy chief petty officer. We purchased this land in 2014 for our retirement. In 2016 we began construction on the view @ 250. When completed, we used it as our weekend getaway from our full-time jobs in Northwest Florida. In 2021 when we retired completely, we moved into the cabin and started construction on our retirement home. It was built with our own hands and love, it is warm, private and waiting for you to enjoy. It’s fabulous view of Wachese Mountain and the rest of the Cherokee range.
Why they chose this property
Over our 45 years of marriage, we have lived as far away as Okinawa, Japan, and various spots throughout the United States. We have always been close to military installations in populated areas. We wanted a secluded retirement location. This place is secluded beautiful.
What makes this property unique
The beautiful view and the seclusion and peace and quiet!
