I cannot say enough good things about this cute little place! It was perfect in every way. Everything felt very new and it was fully stocked with whatever we could have needed. It is one of the cleanest properties I’ve ever stayed at! Exactly as advertised. We will be back!
It was a great place to get away. Tucked away from everything and everyone. So plan ahead. Very clean when we walked in and had everything you needed. Very well furnished. Hot tub was amazing. Grill was nice. Celebrated a weekend away with wife for anniversary and it was exactly what we were looking for.
Very nice location far away from everything with great amenities. Host was quick to respond to inquiries and adjustments that needed to be made. Would stay there again. Is a great location if you have dogs and want them to let loose a little bit. Though our furry friends preferred watching Netflix!
I want to give an honest review before you bookWhen I booked this place to go get in the lake for my husbands birthday I got a nasty call from a lady that said “You’re local”. I said yea She then said what are you doing renting this place. Which I found weird. I said I am wanting to go lake float for the weekend. She then told me we don’t allow parties. I told her we hadn’t panned on that. She said well I’m just letting you know. She was super rude.I should have canceled then: Bc when we got there the pictures of the lake must be really old bc there was absolutely no way to enjoy the lake it was so muddy and the mud had so many sticks you couldn’t get to the water. The house was clean and nice. The floor had water damage and soft spots in places but the house was nice all and all.Anyway I wouldn’t book again for the money not worth it. Bc I only wanted to float in the lake.

I’m not pleased the two things I booked for didn’t work. We had issues with hot tub not being hot even thought I emailed before booking to confirm hot tub worked. Also the fireplace wouldn’t come on and we followed the steps they left for use Would not come back here again
I rented this property by myself as a three night getaway. The house was as described EXCEPT that it was in a flood plane. My first night there was a heavy down port, which caused a 3 foot pool of water to form at the base of the driveway. I had to be evacuated from the premises by DNR and my car had to be left behind. It is now one week later, and the water has not received at all. DNR is estimating that it will be another three weeks before the water goes down low enough for me to get my car out! I completely understand that the weather is beyond a rental companies control, but there should be some warning of the possibility of flooding. Because of this I will be out of the use of a car for over a month!
Inside was fine, as advertised. Everything else about the location, water access and just how far it is from anything was different from what was advertised on the rental site. "Beach/lake" access was not as pictured and we had no idea how to walk there. We had to go roaming the property and ended up at the water but it was dirty, NO beach whatsoever and it didn't look clean enough to get in water if it was a nice location. Pictures showed a clean, open small beach area and it must've been taken a while ago! No cleaning supplies in home aside from some vinegar and a bottle of spray kitchen cleaner. No broom even!! Bring bug spray because there are loads of mosquitoes and the trash was strewn all over entrance area. Some animals maybe got into it!?? Tried emailing host regarding lake access but never got a response.

We got this property because it said it was a 2 minute walk to the water. We brought our kayaks and we're very excited about kayaking on the lake. When we got there, there was no way to get to the lake. The description and the pictures are very misleading. The room was clean but you could tell noone had been there for awhile. The house smelled pretty stale and when I pulled the covers back there were a couple of dead bugs...This is a very nice place and if the brush were cleaned up, there would be lake access. If they did that and freshened to place up before folks got there, I'd stay again... just wouldn't pay as much money now knowing it's not waterfront.
