Newly constructed, the suite has one king bedroom, one bath, an open living room, dining space, and a full kitchen. A large queen-plus sofa bed in the living room allows a getaway that comfortably accommodates up to four. A private patio with a gas fire pit, grill, and small garden complete this secluded mountain sanctuary. Hike the beautiful mountains right out your door.

Beautiful Vrbo rental! Amazing views from right outside your door of the mountains and private hiking trails to explore. Also, really enjoyed being able to sit outside on the patio for stargazing at night.

Amazing place to stay!! Incredible accommodations with a view you have to see to believe. The suite was extremely clean and comfortable with a lovely deck and gas fire pit for enjoying the Santa Monica Mountains. Joel gave very detailed directions making it easy to find even at night. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing hidden mountain GEM!

That was the most thoroughly stocked place I’ve ever stayed, and definitely one of a kind. It’s more like an experience than just your average overnight stay. There are hiking trails right outside the doorstep, and the hosts dog was such a sweetie. Clean, amazingly thorough, would 10/10 stay again and. Can’t wait to!

Absolutely fantastic host. He was super responsive and easy to talk to you.The location is a little odd to get to and the host does a good job to let you know how to get there. Once you get there, it’s absolutely gorgeous. The host has thought of everything from make up towels to offering a large variety of teas. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was great.

Heaven on earth

So peaceful and inspiring. Idyllic mountain getaway. The star gazing was insane. The kids loved the paved hiking trails. Short drive to Malibu beaches. The beds were super comfortable. We loved it so much, we booked a second night, as we didn’t want to leave!!! Wish we could have stayed longer. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Never got in

Unfortunately, after arriving at the gate to the property we couldn’t get in as the host never sent us the code nor responded to our various calls and messages asking for the information we needed. Very disappointing as we were really looking forward to enjoying the remote location and beautiful surroundings.

I am profoundly sorry for the mix up in Heather’s arrival date. I was relying on the synced calendar between VRBO and Airbnb which has a bug. Airbnb’s calendar does not show a VRBO guest reservation if is on the day of an Airbnb departure. However, VRBO’s synced calendar does, which is now the I will use.

Very well set up apartment underneath main building. Beautiful views of Valley and mountains. Full kitchen that was very well stocked with all utensils and cookware. Occasional noise from upstairs, but not late at night or early in the morning. I slept very well.
