Very peaceful and relaxing. Located on a farm with lots of friendly animals. The people were just as friendly and helpful. Lots of fun fishing. We will be returning!
The stay was great! Very cozy and clean. We were fairly close to many towns with restaurants and things to see. The owner stopped by as we were leaving and was very nice! I would recommend this for a couples weekend away.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Came down for 100 mile garage sale. Owners were very nice. Cabin very clean and cozy. Just myself and my dog. Came back to cabin after our shopping day. There was a campfire going for us! How wonderful! Enjoyed hearing the peacocks and they have horses. A beautiful setting. Will be back again! Highly recommend staying here!
This little clean and cozy cottage is perfect. Just as described online. Short drive in from main road, just past a horse farm, alone with some other cute farm animals. We were greeted by a couple of very friendly dogs. One named Rubby guarded the cottage 2 of the 3 nights we stayed there. She slept on front porch. Not that we didn’t feel safe, but she sure helped with making us feel welcomed and protected. The hosts Kay and Robin were very helpful with recommending some great places to eat, shop, hike ect... highly recommend this cottage, and we will be back. Thank you Kay and Robin for a wonder stay.
Simple little cabin perfect for a night or two with a small family. It was really warm temperatures when we stayed, and the AC unit did not have any flaws. The family and i would definetly stay here again.
This cabin was a wonderful find. The owners were friendly and Robin has a number of entertaining stories about horses as well as the history of the place. Their pet dogs caused us no problems and got along well with our dog. The pea and guinea fowl were entertaining, along with all of the horses and other animals on the farm. We are looking forward to making another trip back and staying in the future.
My sister and I were on a much needed private getaway after the passing of our mom. This cozy cabin was great, tho not always so private. The owners are amazing and really made us feel welcome, but we never knew if somebody was gonna be working right there or knocking on the door. For this trip, it wasn’t private enough, but would love to go back under dif. circumstances. As far as cleanliness, we did talk to the owner about the issues, feel it was well received and are confident it won’t be an issue moving forward. Upon return one night, there was a beautiful fire going and it was a great end to our evening! The last morning, they were working with the horses and invited us to go for a ride. Unfortunately it didn’t work this time, but hope to take them up on it in the future. Hoping they’ll welcome us back!
