About this property

Beautiful Magna Bay on Shuswap Lake.

Just 13 kms. Past the Scotch Creek Government Campsite.

We are located just minutes away from the lake, across the main road, with a public boat launch, dock, swim grid, picnic tables, washrooms. This area is away from the crowds with a sandy/pebble beach. Private boat buoy.

We are on 1/2 acre of land and have a large outdoor gazebo, fire pit, and room for your boat trailer.

Your cottage is updated and tastefully furnished with a view of the lake.

We have many repeat guests but always welcome new guests that wish to enjoy this little bit of paradise
and tranquility.

It is our lake home and we love it!

A refundable security/damage deposit equal to one nights rent applies.

Pets are not allowed due to bylaws/regulations/policies.
NOTE: Persons traveling with and requiring a Service Animal have special rights and must be granted access regardless.

Absolutely stunning setting. The grounds were beautiful, view from the patio was wonderful, having a covered porch was such a gift to have coffee while it was raining. So close to lake and perfect distance to a local hike and waterfall and the amenities of scotch creek. The space was well furnished, bright and open. The air conditioning was a great bonus. We had the opportunity to meet some lovely neighbors, it is a wonderful community of people. Would highly recommend.

Beautifully serene for the adults and plenty to do for the kids. I could wake up every day to that view and peaceful sounds of nature. This home away from home was spacious for us all, nicely decorated and very well kept. The owners were wonderful to deal with and quick to reply. It was everything we imagined and more! Perfect little family vacation. I only wish we had booked a longer stay!

Exceptional hosts and holiday!

Pat and Cosy's cottage in Magna Bay is a beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing oasis! Their cottage has everything you could need and their lot is huge and gorgeous! Our family enjoyed spending time on the front deck and in the timber gazebo cooking, eating, playing games, swinging, viewing the lake, and having a fire. The most memorable and unexpected part of our holiday was spending time getting to know Pat and Cosy! They are truly unbelievable hosts that showed us such imaginable kindness...our beautiful afternoon on the lake together was magical! We lost my father some years ago and both our children said that Pat reminded them of their Grandpa, not only having a similar resemblance to Dad, but the way he made sure the kids were having a good time, his generous and playful spirit, and classic rock music! Thank you, again, for such a special and memorable holiday!

The Most Hospitable Hosts!

The photos do not do this place justice. The property was a dream for my kids who couldn't stay off the swings and monkey bars. We enjoyed the fire pit, covered gazebo area, and barbecue, and the rental itself was absolutely perfect and comfortable. My favourite part was waking up and enjoying a coffee on the covered deck and listening to the birds chirp. But more than anything, the highlight of our stay was the hosts Patt and Cosy. They were incredibly generous and hospitable, with Patt even taking us on a long boat ride on the Scuba Queen 😊 We loved the area, the easy beach access along the main road and look forward to coming back!

Perfect Family Getaway

Property owners were very fast at responding back to me. Place was perfect for our family getaway from the city. Yard is huge with lots of space, and things for kids to do. Beautiful massive gazebo for all your cooking needs with campfire beside. Lake is a very short walk down, with a very quiet beach to swim and relax!

Great family vacation!

We had a great stay here and wish it had been longer! The house is well equipped and was super clean when we arrived. There's a play house and a swing set that my granddaughter loved! The beach is just a two minute walk down the street and was never crowded even though we had sunny days all week. And the water was crystal clear and refreshing. We didn't bring a boat but you could put one in right there if you did and there's a buoy to use as well. Bring water shoes as the beach is a bit rocky. Overall a great place to vacation!
