I'm glad the house worked out well for your group. I appreciated how considerate you were of my property. And that it was kind of you to leave the home as clean as you did upon checkout. If you're ever up this way again, you'd be welcome here.

The property is as shown in the listing - very spacious and great for a larger group. It’s in top shape - we enjoyed a beautiful football weekend, and would return without hesitation. Joseph was very thoughtful, checking in with us to see if there were any questions or issues.

We had a group of 12 for a football weekend. The owner, Joe, was helpful from check-in to check out. He even messaged me after our departure that someone had left a hat and arranged to have it shipped back to us.The property was immaculate and provided everything we needed for a successful weekend with 10 adults and two children. We all agreed that if we do this trip again, we would definitely stay here.

We were a group of 8 who were in town to golf both in South Bend and Benton Harbor. The home was perfect for us. We especially appreciated the chairs around the fire pit and the beautiful view from the deck. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and to gather. We'll definitely be back if we ever have the opportunity!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was incredibly clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for our three families (6 adults and 6 kids) with beds to spare. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax, which made our stay so easy and enjoyable. The host was fantastic. Joe was super responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly generous. He went above and beyond by leaving us donuts and snacks, along with beverages stocked in the fridge. He even offered to let us check in several hours early, which we ultimately didn’t need since we weren’t in town yet, but it was such a kind gesture.Everything about the house and our experience was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting South Bend!

I appreciated that you took such good care of my home. Nothing was damaged, and you left the house in very nice shape. Ready for an easy cleanup by my crew. If you're ever in South Bend again, I hope you can keep me in mind. Best of luck, and your future VRBO adventures!

Home Away From Home

We loved our stay!! Perfect for the family to gather and celebrate our ND graduate! Location 18 minutes from campus, plus close to the highway, a Meijer and a couple of gas stations. House was well laid out with plenty of room, but our favorite spot was the outdoor deck!

We had an amazing stay at Joseph’s house for graduation. Lots of room for our big group to spread out, all essentials were provided, great communication and just an absolutely beautiful location. I can't say enough good things about this property or Joe, the owner. It was everything we had hoped for and more. Beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood on a lake. It was close enough to the Notre Dame campus that we could be there in less than 20 minutes. I have stayed at many VRBO properties over the years, and I would rate this as the best overall! Congratulations to Joe on having such a beautiful home? We are thankful to have found it for our football weekend!

Families to ND for Football Weekend

The house was great, perfect to share between two families. It was so much nicer than a hotel to be able to put the kids to bed and then relax with our friends comfortably. And the house is absolutely beautiful! The location was great, we got out of the post-game traffic pretty quickly and it was a fast ride home after that. The owner was very accomodating and helpful with info on area restaurants and grocery stores.

ND Visit Made Easy

This lake home and our experience there was fantastic! We had family and friends (including us) flying in to attend a Notre Dame football game and this was the perfect place to meet for dinner following the game. The kitchen is well equipped and there’s plenty of seating overlooking the beautiful lake. The home was new and clean and the owner very friendly and gracious. We will definitely return!

Great spot for families

We stayed here with a few families for an ND football game - great space for a large crew with plenty of beds, close enough drive to campus in a very nice neighborhood. Kids loved the basement ping pong and foosball. Was a cold weekend so didn't take advantage of the fishing/paddleboat/fire pit but those would be fun. Joe was very organized and responsive, big thumbs up!

Amazing weekend

We went to South Bend for the game va Ohio State! This house exceeded our expectations in every way and we definitely got more bang for our buck! The only regret we have is that we didn’t have more time to enjoy the home. The owner had great communication and was a great sport when one of travelers left Buckeye nuts around the house. Great weekend making amazing memories.

Perfect Retreat for Graduation Weekend 2017

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, clean and spacious home, during the 2017 Notre Dame graduation weekend. There were three sets of parents and three teens, and this home provided enough beds and bathrooms to accommodate all of us. We made good use of the kitchen, grill, foosball table and ping pong table. The layout of the house allowed us to gather on the main floor for meals or conversation while others enjoyed the games on the lower level. The owner was easy to work with and gave us all the information we needed to have an enjoyable stay. We would definitely recommend this rental.
