Self catering bungalow in calm neighbourhood with air conditioning. A short and easy 5 minutes walk to the sandy beach and the Marina of St' Ambroggio (mini market butcher, bakery, fishmonger, newsagent, restaurant, diving club, and boat rental). The semi-detached 3 room bungalow house of around 100 square metres (1 double bedroom with en suite bathroom, 1 double bedroom and a large third bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed, ceiling v-lux windows) all with air conditioning.
It benefits from a terrace covered from the shade with a pergola and a private garden with artificial grass. The rooms and bathroom benefit from windows on the ceiling and not the side, whereas the living room has large glass doors providing access to the terrace. It is equipped with all comforts required for a relaxed family holiday. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Logement tres bien situé, proche de la plage et des petits commerces de la marine. Exterieur agréable avec sa grande terrasse.Neanmoins le barbecue annoncé n'en etait pas un et la plaque électrique de subsitution ne fonctionnait pas. Bien dommage pour des grillades d'été.De plus la 1ere nuit de notre sejour a été annulée sans explication du proprietaire, alors même que le ferry avait été réservé en fonction.

Bel emplacement et très belle maison avec tout le confort. Petit bémol la climatisation de la chambre parentale est bruyante. Un peu de couverts supplémentaires seraient souhaitable pour ne pas utiliser systématiquement le lave vaisselle. Angela est tellement adorable et à l’écoute.

Zweckmäßige geräumige Unterkunft in schöner Lage

Wir haben die Unterkunft mit 5 Personen 2 Wochen Ende September genutzt. Ein großer Tisch auf der Terrasse bietet genug Platz. Bei Regen kann man ihn auch im Wohnzimmer nutzen. Strand und Einkaufmöglichkeiten sind fussläufig erreichbar. Es steht auch ein Fahrrad zur Verfügung. Wir sind sehr nett von Ornella empfangen worden und die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat auch gut funktioniert.

Belle situation, plage à proximité, manque d'aération

Jardin en entrant suivi d'une belle terrasse bien aménagée, pièce à vivre spacieuse avec cuisine équipée. Cependant manque d'aération sur toute la partie chambres, pas de fenêtre, simple velux, pas de climatisation et pas de réseaux internet sur cette partie. Très bel accueil pour notre entrée et sortie de location de la part de la personne en charge.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour à Lumio. Un accueil et des conseils au top par Ornella et Jean-Luc, merci à eux. Le logement était quant à lui un peu en dessous de nos attentes, il est compliqué d'aérer les pièces du fond où se trouvent chambres et salles de bains. Jardin peu entretenu. Mais dans l'ensemble le séjour a été bon.

Grande maison, confortable. Peut etre le regret de ne pas avoir eu la télévision spécialement durant la coupe du monde de foot. Le restant n’étant que de petits détails .les voisins ont étés charmants avec nous et Samia qui nous a receptionnés a été particulièrement attentive avec nous. Nous reviendront avec grand plaisir

Spacious house, great location

The house is very spacious and could easily accomodate six or even eight persons. Aircondition worked great which was a big deal as it was very hot at the beginning and the end of our stay. The house is located 400 m from the beach, the boulangerie and a few small shops. A small supermarket si 800 m away. The village itself is not very remarkable, but Algajola (5 min by car), Île Rousse (15 min) and Calvi (15 min) more than make up for that. There are at least 10 gorgious beaches within a 20 min drive, each different from the other. Great not only for kids! We missed Spado beach though - a lovely rock beach just around the corner (albeit on a very bumpy road). Maybe next time...

Un petit coin de paradis au calme

A quelques pas de la plage, de la Marina et des commerces, la maison bénéficie meme d'une vue sur mer. La maison est pratique, bien equipée et confortable avec une terrasse agréable et au calme. De plus, St Ambroggio est idéalement située a promixité de Calvi-Aeroport. Tout est la pour passer de bonnes vacances. Surtout ne pas oublier de faire la sieste a l'ombre sous les 2 palmiers du jardin. Contact efficace et sympathique avec le propriétaire pour la réception des clés et des draps.

Wonderful Location, great property & frienly owner

I was looking for a place which will accommodate my small family (1 adult and two children, 8 and 10), that was not far from the airport, close to the beach and access to shops and amenities. This was perfect, very spacious (we could have been 8 there). The beach was very close, the shops really nice and with a good restaurant for the lazy parents. The Marina is great, we managed to rent a boat and went for a tour. There are also Tennis court in the area (5 mns) and we managed to rent a court for few hours and played together. There are also great restaurant to visit if you have a car. In the nearby, you also can organise walking for few hours in the mountain and close to rivers. Great holidays (we stayed 4 days) and the house is really nice.

Located at a walking distance from the St Ambroggio beach, one of the most protected beaches from winds and waves in the Balagne region, it provides great access to the wealth of activities in the region. Calenzana, a 15 minutes drive-away is the start of the famous GR20 route, one of the most beautiful hiking routes in France. The coast between Calvi and Ile Rousse has many beaches which are great for families. Algajola (5 minutes drive) and Calvi (15 minutes drive) have lots of sports activities (water skiing, windsurf, kayak, cycling, mountain bike, scuba diving...). The Balagne has some of the most beautiful mountain villages in Corsica, combining great food, cultural activities and magnificent scenery.
The house is located in the St Ambroggio marina, which benefits from a butcher, a small supermarket, cafe, restaurant, a butcher, a fishmonger and wine merchant, a newsagent, boat rental business and diving club.
