We have stayed at this property several times as our family gathers for the holidays. It is well maintained, convenient to DC museums, grocery stores, metro. The owners are available if you reach out but are otherwise not intrusive. We put up a Christmas tree, have family over for Christmas Eve dinner. Large home, reasonably well equipped kitchen. We look forward to staying next year if possible.
Great stay, colleagues spent a month in this property and had a great time. Highly recommended

Liked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
The house is definitely not a 9.6 rating. The beds were comfortable, and the showers were good along with adequate towels. That being said, the house is dated from the 1960s barely functional cabinets in the kitchen. The dishwasher had a warning to be careful with the door. The TV's had no instruction and the art work was awful and pornographic in the bedrooms. We had to cover it up. This "art work" and a lot of personal items need to be removed. Very cluttered.
We loved this property! It was close to a park for jogging and exercise and very easily accessible by car to the rest of Alexandria. A bus was right outside to connect you to the metro and was so convenient. The house was comfortable and easily made up to accommodate our family. Overall it was an excellentplace to stay.
The house was very nice, well equipped, in a nice neighborhood convenient to Arlington and Old Town Alexandria. We liked that the house felt like a real home; a place someone lives rather than has just set up to rent out. The rental process was very easy and the owners were responsive to our few minor questions. We would definitely book it again.
Nice place for a home base, but pretty far from the metro. House instructions need to be updated. Loved that it was stocked with coffee, some condiments and water. We would definitely stay again!
The townhouse worked as a great home base for our family vacation touring DC and Alexandria. It didn't take us too long to get into the city each day and it was nice to have a place in a quiet neighborhood to come back to each night! The house had plenty of space for the 5 of us. We enjoyed our stay!
Nice place, clean, quiet! We were with family for a trip to National Mall area. Easy drive to the National Mall area, easy access to Metro stations also. Will stay again next time we are back.
This property is in a quiet, safe and nice neighborhood. Close to the bus stop and all sights to see. Not sure it would be good for a family with small children but it was great for 3 adults and 3 teenage boys! If we ever come back, we would not hesitate to stay here again!
We travelled with extended family and this property provided us the room we needed. Our favorite part was the abundance of kitchen material. We cooked every day and had plenty of pots, pans, bowls, plates and any other item that we needed. It made our stay feel like home.
We enjoyed staying at this property. The place was clean and well stocked, and the location was perfect for us. The rec room was comfortable, and we enjoyed talking about our day while relaxing down there. Only suggestion is that the upstairs bathroom's showerhead needs immediate attention. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
We were very pleased with everything at this property. There was plenty of space for all of us. The basement gave us an area to unwind after a long day of checking out DC. This location gives you proximity to DC without DC rental prices.
We had a spectacular visit! The home was excellent, clean and comfortable, and in a great neighborhood. It was convenient for our wedding events as well as the DC tours we took. There was nothing negative to report…I would recommend this venue to anyone!
It was very comfortable. 3 nice sized bedrooms plus 2 full baths made getting ready in the morning a breeze. House had everything we needed. Too bad we were so busy that we couldn’t enjoy it more!
It's a lovely older home in an adorable neighborhood. We loved the space to spread out and the quirky decor and art. Just a couple of pesky "intruders," outdated appliances, and loud doors/creaky floors that took some getting used to. The patio is great, as is the water pressure!
