Our Home is located in Brownfield, Maine. It is a Farmhouse style home with modern amenities and a 2 car garage. Home features exposed beams, stone fireplace and gleaming pine wood floors. There is a picturesque brook running thru the property which is situated on 4 private acres. It features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a large dining room. Large comfortable living room with a stone fireplace and an oversized leather sofa. Couple of comfortable rocking chairs for cozying up in front of the fire. Oversized coffee table for family game nights. Master Bedroom offers a king size bed, walk in closet and a private bath with a shower. Also we have provided a crib for families with young children. Second bedroom offers a large closet and an cozy reading room. It has a queen size bed and plenty of storage. Third bedroom has 2 queen size beds, large closet and an antique armoire. Large dining room with a custom farm style table and comfortable seating for 10. Breakfast nook offers additional eating for 4, featuring custom chandelier and high top breakfast table. Kitchen offers plenty of cabinet space, soapstone countertops and new gourmet double oven stove in stainless steel. There is also a gas grill for outdoor cooking. Back of the house features a large yard and a 3 season screened in porch with rocking chairs and acacia outdoor furniture perfect for catching a sunset. New for 2017 pergola for cozy sunrise in front of the house with adirondack chairs. House comes with everything you need for a comfortable stay including luxurious linens, towels, coverlets and comforters.The kitchen comes fully stocked with 2 sets of plates, glasses and silverware for 12. It offers all the amenities of home such as toaster oven, microwave and coffeemaker. All new stainless steel appliances. New Washer and Dryer are also on the premisses. For the rainy days you have available free Wi-Fi, LCD TV with Netflix and Prime video.

Quiet Ski House

Such a beautiful house with a very warm fireplace/ wood stove. Enjoyed the quiet walks and some NH skiing at Wildcat Mt. Great house to cook in and we were able to watch any streaming service. If you enjoy reading and listening to nature like my husband then is a perfect house. Hope to return next year!

New Years Get Away

My family spent 4 nights at this charming farmhouse getaway… our goal was to unplug, enjoy some peace with nature and family. All were accomplished! The house is exactly as advertised and the owners have the VRBO process dialed in. We were greeted with a champagne gift and a full rack of wood for use in the wood burning stove. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances are all higher end to cook anything you like. The family room table is a great spot to play family games and the living room with a fire was super relaxing. Our dog loved being able to run around in the woods and the porch and garages made it easy to clean off before coming in the house. Really close to a few local stores and restaurants, but also less than 30 minutes to North Conway to stroll around there and ski. Great hiking in the area as well. Thank you and happy New Year!

The property is super private and beautiful at the height of Fall. The house was well kept and felt very comfortable to stay in. Local restaurants are great over in Fryeburg and Cornish. Awesome communication with the host. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely house and location

This property really showed the pride of ownership…well maintained and thought out. The house has a dining room where we were all able to have a big family dinner which is such a sweet memory! Also, the beds were hands down the most comfortable we’ve ever experienced in renting a property anywhere. We were unfamiliar with the area and I asked for places to go in the water…Branislav said Weston’s Beach and we went and had a GLORIOUS day swimming during Memorial Day. We would love to stay here again, any season!

Cute and private farmhouse

My boyfriend and I stayed at Shepherds River Road for the month of February while we were working remotely. It was an adorable little spot to call home for the month. We loved nights in front of the fire and exploring the surrounding area. The closest large ski mountain was Atttitash and we also did a day trip to Sunday River. We loved exploring the North Conway area along with Fryeburg.

The perfect place to call ‘home’!

This was the perfect spot to call ‘home’ for our holiday week get-away! The house was beautifully decorated (even with holiday touches), comfortable (especially hanging out on the comfy sofa in front of the wood burning stove), and had everything we needed (even a waffle maker)! The location was perfect - we wanted to get away from the ‘hustle and bustle’ and this house was in a peaceful and quiet area, but Still very convenient to winter activities (we enjoyed activities in both the Conway area and in Maine). The hosts were very responsive to my questions and gave us wonderful suggestions on activities and restaurants in the area. Our family thoroughly enjoyed calling this our ‘home’ and hope to make it back again!

Relaxation in Maine

We came as a family to Maine to enjoy the food and escape to peace and quiet. The owners were VERY responses to all the questions I asked , as this was our first time using VRBO. The property was very clean and relaxing. There was space for us together and space to spread out. Everything was in the house that we needed, including laundry. The king size bed was a plus as most do not have a king size bed. When we return to Maine, we plan to come back to this property. The views surrounding us were wonderful and serene.

Great winter hiking!

The house is on a quiet street and within a five minute drive from a number of year round hiking trails. We really enjoyed winter hiking and snowshoeing. One can snowshoe right out of the backyard. The owners are very friendly, easy to communicate with and helpful. The house is clean, cozy, spacious and has all necessary supplies and more. We are looking forward to checking it out in the fall.
