About the host
Hosted by Jason Froio

I'm from Malden Ma originally. While I grew up in the city, I've loved the woods for as long as I can remember. I love all four of New England's seasons and I love being outside. My wife and I found our little piece of heaven and we love sharing it with others.
Why they chose this property
My parents bought a cottage in Brownfield in 1978. My wife and I were fortunate to purchase the cabin next door in 2012. A couple years later we were again lucky to purchase 280 acres of beautiful woodlands with pond and streams right across the street from our cabin. The property is beautiful and centrally located near all the things we love about western Maine, the Mount Washington Valley and coastal Maine.
What makes this property unique
We love our little Amish built log cabin and our fire pit and screened porch have been a hit with our guests. What really sets our property apart is the 280 acres the cabin sits on. You'd be hard pressed to find a more peaceful location with your own private hiking trails, views of the surrounding foothills, abundant wildlife and a beautiful 6 acre pond to paddle on.
