This was my first VRBO experience. Cabin was clean, host was responsive, description was accurate and instructions were clear. Nice, secluded spot. Saw 15 turkeys walking through the front yard. Would reserve again.

Loved this dog friendly gorgeous log cabin. It was so adorable with everything we needed. Big storms caused a WiFi outage but nothing they could control about that! Very communicative hosts, very clean - nice linens. We loved hiking for the day and coming back to the quiet nature sounds on a gorgeous starry nights in the hot tub (turn out all the indoor and outdoor lights and look up from the hot tub-incredible on a clear night). My boyfriend said when we come back we don’t have to look for a place -let’s come back here!

Great little getaway

My husband and I stayed here for a nice little getaway before the holidays. The cabin was great, very clean and cozy. Not far from Old Man's Cave and the Moonville Tunnel, and the sky visibility was great for stargazing

Quiet and accessible, great stopover! Very nice linens, furniture, and electronics provided. Beds are very firm but comfortable. Saw some cool wildlife, deer and foxes and many neat birds. Definitely will consider coming again!

Overall we had a great experience staying here with it being pretty close to hocking hills and other attractions around, the host was excellent and helped with some power outage issue we had one night, although it would have been nice to have a backup generator at least for the fridge and restrooms, we had plenty of ice to keep our food from going bad but other than that everything was on point

This was the perfect cabin for what we needed! We wanted something centrally located between Athens and the camp at Canter’s Cave (Jackson) and this worked so well. The cabin was stocked with essentials and very clean — we had a delightful stay!You are definitely in the middle of nowhere and very secluded, yet conveniently located right off of US 50. While the property is “shared” with the other cabin, you would never know it! The wooded area behind and the pond to the front make for a very peaceful and private getaway. Communication and access to the property were easy. The hosts have helpful notes around the cabin which were super nice to help us make sure we handled the needs appropriately. Hot tub was excellent. We had an excellent stay and there’s a high chance we will consider this again next year! 10/10!

We loved the authentic hand-hewn construction and back private deck.

We had a wonderful experience. The cabin is meticulously kept and well equipped. We spent some mornings on the front porch swing and some evenings in the well maintained hot tub on the private back deck. Our only suggestion would be to put a couple of those Adirondack chairs on the back deck to chill with some coffee while looking into the woods. We will definitely visit again in the future!

Very peaceful, clean, and private cabin

This property was a perfect private getaway. It is about a half hour drive to Hocking Hills, but there are some very nice less traveled hiking trails about 10 minutes away. There is one other cabin on the opposite side of the property, but plenty of privacy. The cabin has lots of beautiful unique characteristics with hand hewn wood, wood floors, and a great deck. Everything was very clean and well equipped. And the property is dog friendly! Owners were also easy to communicate with and very responsive. I will definitely consider coming back!
