Good stay. The deck was great for mining’s and evenings with coffee/wine. Nice to be away and somewhere secluded but still have stores and restaurants nearby. Bed was very comfy and cool nights with window open.
The views are amazing from the panoramic deck! Peaceful, quiet, and great energy. Also easier than I thought it would be to find. Only thing I wished for was for all windows to have locks. Some don’t lock.
Such an awesome spot for a weekend getaway! Incredible views on the deck! Loved the natural light in the kitchen and the surrounding area. Definitely recommend an SUV to get there.
The space is lovely if you like outdoors better than in. It’s comfortable but not well equipped. The deck is the best part of the space and the ability to hike out the back door is amazing! The trail is gorgeous and the creek with frogs at night is bliss. The birds are singing and the donkey is fun to hear. This is my third of many visits to come. My dog loves the space too!
This location and the atmosphere around the property made this trip quickly jump in my top 2 all time favorite and I travel for work often. I would definitely plan a family trip just to come back to this property.
The check in process was really easy, it can be hard to find the right bridge (especially at night). Wi-fi worked well for texting but you won’t be able to make any calls. We could use face-time. Kitchen had a toaster oven and microwave. There was also a grill you can use. Bed was comfortable! The people there were very helpful and the hiking trails were awesome! There were quite a few people staying in places in the property but it felt very private!
Beautiful location nestled in the mountains with just a short drive to the city. We brought a small dog and used the private trail for walks. We used our own prepared meals from a local meal prep shop so we could just heat them up and didn’t need to leave the home. Less than 10 minutes to the highway. Nearby convenience store and restaurants for all needs. The energy of the place is spectacular. It is simple and exactly what we needed. Thank you and blessings.

Nice unit that is part of a communal living property
The unit was nice and in a beautiful area. However, the listing doesn’t accurately describe the property. The unit is part of a multi-structure building that appears to have some other vacation/temporary rentals and full-time residents. The building is on what appears to be part of a communal living property with a variety of housing and community structures on it. I’m down with communal housing but would have appreciated that being disclosed in the listing. It’s very peaceful in the morning. The residents are more active in the afternoons. The trail is nice with spots to rest and take in the views. The road in is unpaved and very rough. I was in a high clearance van and did ok, but I would not attempt the drive in a low clearance vehicle (though some of the permanent residents did). The unit was reasonably clean and nicely decorated, but it could use a deep clean and I found ticks in the rug.
Overall pleasant stay and adequate for my needs. The property was pretty tidy despite the outside appearance. It was hard to find and I would recommend check-in before dark. The only negatives was there weren’t any kitchen towels and I found dog poo on the porch.
This place is a hidden gem for a Topanga experience. I love falling asleep to the cricket sounds at night. I would gladly stay here again anytime I’m in the area. It has everything you need. Thank you for hosting!
