Welcome to Island Splash, a spacious 5-bedroom, 4-bath vacation home on beautiful North Captiva Island. This home comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests and is ideal for families and groups seeking a relaxing island getaway just a short walk from pristine beaches.

Designed for both comfort and entertainment, Island Splash offers multiple living spaces, screened porches, a private heated pool, and a game room. Guests can enjoy outdoor dining, a poolside kitchen, and plenty of room to gather or spread out.

This home is professionally managed by The Island Club of North Captiva, providing guests with access to exclusive amenities and on-island support throughout their stay.

Guests will have private access to the entire home, including the private heated pool, game room, screened porches, outdoor kitchen, and grill area.

An included golf cart is provided for use during your stay and is the primary mode of transportation on the island.

Guests also have access to all Island Club amenities during their stay.

The Island Club team respects guest privacy while remaining available as needed. Guests may contact the team by phone or messaging for assistance before and during their stay.

As this is an Admiral Home professionally managed by The Island Club, on-island staff is available to assist with ferry coordination, luggage service, grocery delivery arrangements, additional golf cart rentals, and activity recommendations.

Island Splash is located on North Captiva Island, a quiet, car-free barrier island known for its uncrowded beaches, abundant wildlife, and relaxed atmosphere.

The island offers excellent shelling, fishing, kayaking, and nature exploration. With no cars and limited commercial development, North Captiva is ideal for guests seeking a peaceful, natural setting.

North Captiva Island is accessible only by boat or small private plane. There are no cars on the island, and golf carts are the primary mode of transportation.

Mainland parking is available at the North Captiva Island Club Welcome Center for a daily fee. Ferry transportation is required to reach the island, and luggage assistance is included with delivery to the home. Restrictions may apply.

Once on the island, guests may travel by the included golf cart, bicycles, or walking paths.

Golf Cart Damage Deposit:
A $2,000 pre-authorization damage deposit hold will be charged to your card on file three days before check-in and released within one week after checkout, pending golf cart inspection.

Groceries:
Grocery options on the island are limited. Guests are encouraged to purchase supplies before arrival or arrange grocery delivery in advance.

No pets permitted.
No parties or events allowed.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

A great floorplan for a multi-family vacation! Two full kitchens & living spaces with their own bedrooms makes this IDEAL for large family trips. (Lots of stairs! But that's island-living for you.) The house was clean and well kept, with a great pool & easy access to the beach - The house was great!

I have stayed on the island previously and our family loves it. The staff is great with check in/out. The owners of this house need to invest in some structural and maintenance. The ceiling had a bad leak into the kitchen. The drapes and some of the throw pillows were stained. The master bedroom sheets had holes in them. I can't blame the cleaning crew. It needs some work, paint and deep cleaning. And do t even get me started on the roaches or the roach eggs in the cabinets I don't like to leave poor reviews, but whomever rents this house should have a little more awareness. If you can afford the island. Take care of your stuff. We literally had roaches crawling across the walls and floors. I live on the water in Florida and I know it happens. This was gross. Love the island and always love time with my family. But to the owners .. do better

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been to the island several times and this was my first time staying at Island Splash. Rented through NCIC and had such a great experience! We had rented through them before and service was just so/so. This time they were fantastic. You can text them whatever you need and someone responds almost immediately. Very pleased. The home was nice, furnishings were dated, bathrooms need to be updated, but its an island house. Coffee pot is VERY small! We had 5 girls and had to make several pots a day. New patio furniture was delivered but not put out until the day before we left. Overall, great trip. Home is large enough for 2 families.

Nice and big, great layout and easily supported 8 guests (4 adults, 4 children). It is also in a great location. The problem with the space is that it is very outdated. The furniture is old, the beds a cheap, and the pool furniture was nearly unusable. Every pool chair was either ripped or rusted through. The kitchen was terribly stocked. Glassware especially. The coffee pot is the smallest coffee pot I have ever seen. In fact, they are bigger in a hotel room and for a house that sleeps 12+ it is unacceptable. There are 4 beach chairs that are in terrible shape and rusted and they have very few beach towels. The trash was not picked up and the animals had ripped it out and dragged it everywhere and it took them 3 days to come to clean it up. The staff ad NCIC were great, but there are some things that the owner is responsible for that need work. I normally don't write reviews like this but for $1000 a night, you would expect differently.

Got a little confused on check in. Checked in at welcome center. Didn’t know we needed to check in on the island. Guess we probably should have. Great island experience. 1 golf cart charger didn’t work, 1 golf cart would hold a charge. Other wise pretty much as advertised

Family Vacation at Island Splash

Three floors of living with multiple covered and open air decks provided space for multiple activities. The onsite pool was perfect for young swimmers working on new skills. Island Splash's location was close enough to walk and or drive to the beach and or Mango's for snacks/food/tennis and or kayaking equipment. The property was clean and the amenities were comfortable. The property management company were very professional and attentive to our requests with additional special attention for the needs of two infants.

Basic Accommodations Only - Not Worth the High Price

I have rented many homes for vacations and this home is one of the least desirable. we were forced to rent this house as two others that were rented earlier canceled their reservation on us. The condition for the price paid was subpar. The place is tired, old sheets, kitchen equipment was terrible. Had a 4 cup coffee maker for a 5 bedroom house. The overall condition was dirty, really dirty, with cobwebs and dirt everywhere. Paying a $400 cleaning fee is ridiculous for the condition of the home. The outside furniture was filthy, grill filthy, beach chairs rotted through, golf carts were terrible, rusty, barely held a charge, etc. The refrigerator in the kitchen had a hard time keeping items cold. Need I go on? This house needs a complete update and deep cleaning.

This property NEEDS work. AC has issues

We have been to N Captiva twice in the last 6months. Love the island. This place has issues mostly b/c it’s worn down bad. AC issues whenever we got in, worker tried to fix said quote” we have told owner for awhile now they need to be replaced”.. has 3 fans going in upstairs master just to keep about 80 in night. Lots of mosquitoes in summers and all screens doors in house need to be replaced as no molding as u close them so mosquitoes got in, could not use any other patios.. refrigerator upstairs took 3 days to cool, so have some food spoil. Bathroom aged for sure.. know they use well water so stinky when us shower.. funny last place stayed never had that problem so assume owner needs new filter system??? Just would not stay every again, decided didn’t want to deal with each day and complain. Wanted to enjoy the island. I have owned property on the beach for 10 years and would never let my place look like this. Maybe just the help on the island to fix stuff not sure but still the owners issues after all..all in all unacceptable for the price.

island splash

Island Splash needs some work. The pictures do not represent how tired and worn the house actually is inside and outside. Bathrooms are dirty, rusty, and old. Walls are scuffed as well as dirty with fingerprints etc and need to be repainted. The bathroom rugs should all be replaced. The futon would be fine for a small child but shouldn't be accounted for in sleeping arrangements. Light fixtures had layers of dust and hadn't been properly cleaned. We were locked out one evening (hotel key pad never worked properly) and called the emergency number for North Captiva Island Club and no one returned our call until the next morning. We were able to "break in" and for our trouble we were offered 2 free drinks at the pool. Our vacation was fun and we made the best of it but we wouldn't rent this particular house again. Location was nice being so close to the club and the golf carts worked well.

Great place to stay for a large group.

The house was great and so were the amenities. We absolutely loved our stay at Island Splash. The only thing we would recommend would be to have more paper products, dish soap, trash bags etc. available for the duration of the stay. Absolutely loved the private pool, 2 golf carts and the outside seating. Will definitely be coming back to the island!

Dead Golf Carts and Mosquitoes

I would recommend covered parking for the golf carts at this house. It rained the entire time we were there so we never really got to venture out too much on the island but when we did, the golf carts never worked because they were so water logged. I've been coming to this island for about 30 years with my family and I've never seen the mosquitoes as bad as they were during this stay. Another reason we had to stay cooped up inside for half the stay. Normally we see the helicopters flying by a few times during our stay. The main pool at the island club was gross. It was dirty and full of mold on the sides. I thought it was just me until I overheard someone else complaining about it to one of the employees. The home Island Splash was accommodating for our group. A lot of bedrooms and everyone had a bathroom. It was ok, not the best I've stayed.

Nice house!

Very well maintained house. Good location for Mangos ( the general store) and the clubhouse. It was great having 2 golf carts with the property. There were plenty of beach towels and beach chairs. My only complaint about the house was no shade at the pool area!

Wonderful Getaway and North Captiva is a gem

We happened on North Captiva online looking for a place for our family and had never been before. The home Island Splash was a perfect introduction to the island. Well stocked kitchen, nice pool and nicely laid floor plan is very good for families like ours. We have two younger children and two older. Everyone enjoyed the space very much. The house is not ocean view but that's really no matter as it makes up in other ways. They provide a pair of golf carts which are great. It's about a minute to the dock and pool club and about a minute to the beach at the end of Schooner street. The beach at the end of Butterfly Street was our go to spot everyday, and was about 3 minutes away on the cart. North Captiva is definitely worth visiting and our family will be back, and will use Island Splash again without a doubt. Also, the staff on the island are fantastic and helpful. We had no issues or complaints to speak of.
