Family vacation.
The cabin is spacious and inviting. My family enjoyed the scenery and the black bears in view. The WIFI was atrocious no matter if it was a clear day or rainy. This needs to be addressed. Thanks.

Great stay and property
The cabin was very amazing with beautiful views. Everything was very organized. It was perfect except the fact that we had to empty the trash out and the trash bin was located at the entrance of the resort (which was quiet far from our cabin), so had to take the dirty trash in our cars. Other than this part, the stay was very good. Highly recommend staying here.

Excellent For Group
We loved Magic Mountain! We have been renting a property each summer with two other families. I always handle finding the property and the logistics. This is as some of the best communication I’ve had. We received an email with information plus a follow up call to see if we had questions. A text was sent when the property was ready as well as two other follow up texts to ensure we had what we needed. The home is beautiful and exactly as pictured. Each bedroom had an en suite. The decks were perfect for morning coffee and watching the evening sunrise. The basement was a perfect crash pad for the kids with plenty of twin beds. A few notes: 1) The drive through the community is not for the faint of heart. These are mountain roads. They’re well paved and maintained, but some steep grades and hairpin turns. 2) Kroger and Publix are about 25 min away from the house. Pantry space is lacking, so we used the breakfast bar to store a lot. 3) WiFi is best when one person using. If you will need to work from home while away, keep that in mind. 4) There is no lawn or yard at the house, but there’s plenty of space next to the community pool for games. 5) We loved that the house was removed from the crowded touristy parts of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The drive to our various destinations was 30-75 minutes. Use Google Maps ahead of time to know long the drive will take. Those who get car sick should be mindful as well.

Spacious!
Unfortunately, we didn't get off to a great start as the door code we were provided did not work. A phone call took care of that, but... There were heavy rains and crazy winds during our first night there. We woke up to standing water in the dining room and living room from leaks around window(s) and roof. Called to report and received a text back stating that leaks were common when it rained so hard--not at MY house. We were instructed to use as many towels as necessary to dry floors, windowsills, and tables. We were told that someone from the maintenance team would be by once they reported for work that morning and that our towel supply would be replenished. We never saw or heard from anyone from said "maintenance team. " I called that evening and said that additional towels were not necessary as we had a few people cancel before the trip and we were leaving the next morning. The hot tub cover cannot be secured, and it blew off during the storm overnight, awakening the couple in the master bedroom when it slammed into the window. Luckily, neither the window nor the cover was damaged. The cover blew off again during the next day when it was quite windy. If I were the property owner, I would want to know where the leaks appeared to be; however, no one from the management company seemed that concerned. Other than that, the house was spacious and very comfortable-- except for a too-soft bed. The water pressure is great, and there's plenty of hot water for a big crowd. The kitchen is quite well-equipped. My only complaint with the kitchen is that hot and cold are reversed on the kitchen sink. We have rented many vacation homes over the past ten or twelve years. I was not impressed with the responsiveness we experienced here. Prior to our arrival, there was almost too much communication; however, when communication was necessary, there was a breakdown. I hate to think how much damage could have been sustained had the house been unoccupied and the water allowed to stand on the floor!

We will definitely visit cabin 73 again!
This was the perfect family vacation. We couldn't have picked a better place to cisit for this occasion. The price was very competitive and the staff was accommodating. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. The views were unbelievable. The only thing i was unaware of was that the master bedroom was on the bottom floor where the game room is. And thats where we put our kids. This is noones fault and it defense didnt hender the experience in any way. But i wish it was clearer in the advertisement. But definition 10 out of 10 star experience and we look forward to next doing this again year with a longer stay! Thanks Natural Retreats
