Great pet friendly remote et peaceful cabin. Better than pictures! We had everything we needed, very clean! Thanks for leaving boardgames! Loved watching clam workers go to work! Thank you!
We loved staying here and could have stayed for much longer. Everything you need and so much more. Who needs a TV if you have these kind of views. So quite and peaceful, and the cottage is perfect.
This was the most peaceful vacation I could have imagined! The view is mesmerizing, the cabin is cozy and comfortable, and the convenience of town is only 15minutes away! Would love to be back someday!
Was a pleasure to stay here. Cute little cottage that we will definitely book again. It is close to Yarmouth and other tourist attractions.Right on the water where the clam diggers go out every day. They are very nice and love to talk. The wildlife was an added feature, family of deer would come down in the evening, Eagles sitting on the rocks and unbelievable sunsets and stars at night. No tv, and Wi-Fi but who needs it when you have all of the above to watch.Cottage was very clean!Loved it!
This was far more rustic than we imagined. It is miles from anything with no wifi and no tv. Although we paid for 2 nights, we left after one night.I guess that I did not read the fine print.
Cottage was cozy and clean , Beautiful scenery looking out on the water and watching the clam diggers out in the sand. Not far from the city of Yarmouth and lots of beaches to explore. Communication with Della was great and gave us tips of what beaches to explore. Will return again.
It was exactly what I needed just home away from home. walked the beach many times with my Dog Bingo.enjoyed Saturday afternoon on the deck with my coffee, book with Bingo at my feet.while
My husband went exploring for a place to fish.
Hope to return again
The cabin was exceptionally clean and tidy. It was perfect for our needs while exploring the Yarmouth area. We ate our breakfasts and dinners there and found everything we needed to do so, including a big pot to boil lobsters. Having the clam diggers show up every morning was a bonus. Had fresh clams for dinner our second day. Over all, a great experience.
The location of this cottage is fabulous, just outside of Yarmouth yet situated at the end of the road in a remote, quiet, private and peaceful setting right on the water. Fresh air as you open the door in the morning! We have stayed here before and will come back. Love walking the shoreline!
The weather in SWNS in winter can be ferocious. The cabin was warm and cosy. Lots of hikes in the vicinity. Good birding. Bring proper outdoor clothing and rainboots if visiting in winter. The driveway a little tricky in wet weather.
Beautiful view just outside the front porch. Fun watching the clammers in the morning. Perfect spot to explore the south east or southwest portions of Nova Scotia. Just 17 minutes from town and the ferry. Loved it!!!
The cottage is quaint and had all that we needed for a quiet and comfortable holiday. It is a restful spot with lovely views, changing tides and daily birdsong. We were pleased with the small amenities such as the number of household items supplied from barbeque starter to spices, and all the towels and and soaps amongst other daily necessities needed when away from home. We loved the area and very much enjoyed our visit to this part of the province, and look forward to returning.
We liked the location with beauty of the water and sunsets. The road was heard to find as not signed with name for the directions so back and forth some and asked directions from a neighbor. (Frog Point Road)
this place is great. It only gas two negative issues, the sofa is terrible it is so uncomfortable that we couldn't set on it (simply worn out) also the entrance to the driveway needs gravel, we have a Dodge Caravan and the bottom dragged both coming in and leaving. If we would have brought our can we would have needed to park on the road.
