Beautiful Farm House Near Family Ski Mountains And Other Fun Winter Activities

This gorgeous farmhouse has four bedrooms each with a private full bathroom. There are six steps leading to the front door. Ground floor bedroom has a king size bed. Each bedroom upstairs has a queen size bed, sitting chair and closet or armoire .There is a fully stocked kitchen, living room with fireplace and dining room that seats 8 people. Three bedrooms are on the second floor and each has a split unit to control heat and air conditioning. There are extra sheets and towels, a washing machine and dryer and ample parking. We have an inground swimming pool ( swim at your own risk) heated during July and august. There is beautiful outdoor furniture situated on the grounds, surrounded by flower beds and lovely scenery. Minimum stay September-June is two nights. July-August minimum stay is 5 nights. Near family friendly ski mountains catamount, butternut and 30 minutes to jiminy ski resort. Golf, Lenox pickleball and tennis courts, yoga and Maravel spa nearby. Fifteen minutes to major summer activities such as Tanglewood and Jacobs Pillow.
The owner has a full apartment downstairs on the side with a private entrance and may be present on the property at various times.

Great summer getaway

Had a wonderful stay. The fact that each bedroom has its own bathroom is a real plus. House is also conveniently located near Tanglewood and Jacob's Pillow. The saltwater pool is very nice and was really well utilized during our stay. And Rhona was very easy to deal with and made sure that we had a good experience.

Comfortable and convenient location

This is a comfortable and attractive home with four separate bedroom/bathroom suites. The shower-heads are very nice too. Nice outdoor seating on deck, patio and garden. Pool area is nice too. We had enough private and group space for 8 adults. Owner is lovely and was flexible about check out too. I highly recommend this house.

The grounds are truly beautiful and it is obvious that a lot of time and attention have gone into making this a beautiful location. NiceLY located between Lenox and Stockbridge. Nice that each of the 4 bedrooms have their own bathroom. When there were issues with the house management was VERY responsive and helpful. Great house for a family.

Very nice house and property. We were four couples so having private bathrooms in each bedroom was amazing. The property has lots of space to spread out and a large pool with great access to nearby towns. Note that there is a unit in the basement that was occupied during our stay so there was another person on property (but they were not at all intrusive).

Old Farmhouse in Great Location

This is not a modern house and it needs occasional attention. Fortunately, the owner lives in an apartment in a corner of the basement and is always available to take care of any problems. The heated saltwater pool and the grounds are lovely. The house is also conveniently located to almost anywhere you may wish to go. There is adequate clothing storage for a short stay.

Great house for large groups.

Recommend a professional house cleaner to clean the home prior to guest arrival. Cob webs in the bathrooms, dust on floors, windows were dirty with finger prints and smudges and appliances were not clean on the surface, and freezer was not working upon arrival.

Wonderful house

This house is beautiful, perfectly located for activities in Stockbridge, Great Barrington, Lenox,Lee, Tanglewood, lakes, Jacob’s Pillow, etc. The house is spacious, allowing family members to find their own space, when also promoting family communication in the large kitchen/dining room area. The grounds are spectacular, with flowers everywhere. The pool was perfect for our 4-year old, allowing him and us to unwind at the end of the day. I highly recommend this house for families that want a chance to relax, have access to great cultural activities in an exquisite setting.

An scenic location just relax and enjoy

Wonderfully spacious house. The well maintained house and grounds provide a relaxing atmosphere. The pool was perfect for our 11 yr old grandson. The four full bathrooms made days and mornings even more comfortable. The location is perfect for easy access to Stockbridge, Lee, Lenox, Great Barrington, etc. Many attractions are closed like Tanglewood, Norman Rockwell museum, the Mount -Edith Whartons home, Naumkeag, Botanical Gardens, Catamount (skiing and aerial adventure park) and much more. The host was excellent and available. Our vacation was even better than we planned.

Love the Berkshires

The setting of the house is lovely with extensive, somewhat wild grounds and a large heated fenced pool area. The house, while set back from the main road, suffers from the noise of it. The kitchen was not as well stocked as most. Many windows and doors lacked screens and held dead insects and mold. The host, who was on site was responsive to our immediate needs, ready with local information and I enjoyed having her there.

A perfect Summer in the Berkshires experience

A comfortable house surrounded by lush vegetation conveniently located in Stockbridge. Very close to Lenox, Lee and Great Barrington. Nice heated pool gated and set back from the house (which was great with small kids around). All upstairs bedrooms have their own AC, Queen sized beds and full bathrooms. The rooms are big enough to accommodate a portacrib or air mattress on the floor with black out shades and fantastic views of the property. The Berkshires is not usually as hot as it was the week that we were there and I assume that the downstairs rarely gets hot enough to require AC. However, because of the high temps we found the downstairs bedroom and communal areas very warm. I contacted the property manager about this and the owner had 2 portable ACs installed later that same day which cooled off the downstairs beautifully. The kitchen is large and functional. I accidentally locked myself out of my bedroom and a property manager came by minutes later to let me back in. Very responsive and attentive to the guests needs. Due to the greenery and lush property it gives the house a rustic feel when you are sitting outside on the deck or by the pool. HIGHLY recommend.

What a fantastic find! This house and property are beautiful. Plenty of areas both inside and out for gathering, but lots of privacy for individuals with the large bedrooms and ensuite baths. Fully equipped kitchen. The porch, pool, large lawns and firepit areas got a lot of use. Looking forward to coming back someday--there was so much to do in the area we never got to most of it.

Nice house with a great location!

Our trip was nice and the property was really clean and comfortable for us. The owner was super accommodating. The house is a close walk about a five min walk to the beach and really in an incredible location. We liked the pool although it was not heated as advertised and the back yard needs a little TLC. But overall I would recommend this house. It's great especially for families with kids bc owner provided lots of toddler and infant things like a crib a nice high chair etc. That was super helpful! We also forgot some clothes in dryer and nadine the property manager sent them to us right away which was impeccable.

Winter getaway

We rented this house for Christmas and new year's to get away from the freezing temperatures in boston and no regret . Rly nice house , great location just a few minutes walk to the beach , nice back yard with pool and it is located in a great neighborhood !!!
