The property was amazing. It was tastefully decorated with a combination of Vermont ease with modern baths and functionality. The views are great. Our large multigenerational family found space for all in this well equipped home. Victoria, the property owner, was available and attentive.

Directions to the house were clear. It was very clean and spacious. There were 4 couples and the house gave us plenty of room. The setting is beautiful and the house was furnished with everything you would need. We all would book this place again if we decide to visit this area of Vermont again.

Mike and I are from Massachusetts, him the north shore, me the Cape. But we come up to Vermont whenever we can. We love hosting because we get to share this incredible space with others and show them all that we love about Johnson/Stowe and the surrounding area!

Why they chose this property

We visited Stowe one winter, and like most of the visitors to Stowe, fell in love with the area. Johnson is the perfect location because it's close enough to downtown Stowe, equidistant to both Stowe & Smuggler's Notch mountains, and gives us the opportunity to explore Jay Peak! Our our bucket list next is to drive into Montreal!

What makes this property unique

We knew we had to have this house the moment we saw it, in fact, Victoria purchased the house site unseen! Even though the house has 10ft ceilings and modern decor, the house still somehow feels warm and cozy. It's the perfect place to gather with friends and family and celebrate together or just catch up. And it's an ideal jumping off point to explore the surrounding area, especially in the winter when the road between Stowe and Smuggler's Notch is closed. And in the summer months there's just as much to do between the bike path, the lakes with fishing, swimming, and kayaking, and the vibrant food and craft beer & whiskey scene.
