We were able to book this house somewhat last minute as we decided to go to Brighton/Solitude/Alta instead of Park City due to the uncertainty surrounding the ski patrol strike. The owner was extremely responsive and accommodating to our situation and helped us get booked quickly. The house is in a great location only a very short drive from Brighton (you can see the slopes from the back porch of the house)...you could also walk down to the shuttle bus as well which isn't far but would take approx 10-15 minutes in ski boots. The house itself is almost brand new, is huge and has everything you could want in a ski vacation - two bedrooms w/ king beds and nice bathrooms, a kids room that would fit 5, and a giant all-purpose room with hang-out area, ping pong, exercise space and another 3 beds. The garage was great so our vehicles were warm and free of snow in the AM. The hot tub was great after long day of skiing and we used the huge Traeger smoker to cook up some pork one day. Highly recommend for families, and we will be returning again!

We’re so happy you enjoyed your time here Chris and got to take advantage of multiple nearby resorts.
We’d be delighted to welcome you back in the future!
I grew up hiking the Sonoran desert in Tucson, AZ. After time in Europe and on the east coast, I love being back in the West and exploring the outdoors. Brighton is one of my favorite places to relax and spend time with my family.
Why they chose this property
My husband's grandpa taught him to ski at Brighton so the location holds a special nostalgia for him among the ski resort areas. I was drawn to the area because of the proximity to the lake (visible from our back window) and the many miles of hiking, snow shoeing and cross country skiing around. We were excited to find a lot where we could custom build a home that is both spacious and cozy, classic and modern.
What makes this property unique
The cabin is surrounded by trees and mountains. It is on an acre of land and backs up to national forest. The space is quiet and serene and with a spa and infrared sauna with red light therapy and a sandbox for grounding and play, it is the perfect wellness retreat.
