About this property

Modern Home In Westport

Updated home centrally located in the heart of mid-town KC. Enjoy this turn of the century home that has been retrofitted with all of today's amenities. Walk to all the shops, restaurants and bars in vibrant Westport. The country club plaza & KC's restaurant row (39th Street) are one mile away. The Cross Roads District & Downtown KC (Sprint Center, Power & Light, The Midland Theater, etc) are all a quick 5 minute ride. This home is centrally located which gives you easy access to everything you want to do!

Westport is an eclectic area, known for the Westport entertainment area, with festive brewpubs, DJ bars, speakeasies, street level patios, roof top decks and retro-chic diners serving American comfort food. During the day, the scene centers on trendy fashion boutiques, vibrant streets, music and a lively atmosphere. Centrally located in the heart of the city.

All of Westport is walkable from the House. The plaza is one mile to the South and 39th Street’s restaurant row is one mile to the West. Ubers and taxis are very easy to get. The new street car is a quick 5 minute ride away at Union Station / Crown Center.

This home provides a driveway for guests to have off street parking.

The house can comfortably accommodate 8 people and has enough linens, towels, etc for 8 people. The smart TV has Roku.

If your group is larger than 8, send me a message, there are other potential options including overflowing into my 2 bedroom, 2 bath house that is one block over. Message me for more information.

Please read the house rules. If a house rule is not followed (especially smoking or parties) you will be subject to a minimum charge of $150 per occurrence. Also, if the correct number of guests are not reflected in your reservation requests, you will owe the extra guest fees of $20 per person per night for each guest over your reservation number. You will also be subject to a minimum charge of $150 for stating an inaccurate number of guests in your reservation. The definition of a guest is any person who enters the home. Please contact me with any questions regarding any house rule. Special arrangements for additional guests can be made with written consent.

Great Stay - Highly Recommend!

We were in town for a volleyball tournament at the convention center. The property was great for the 6 of us adults. The neighborhood was great, walkable and there were great food options. If you stay here take a walk to Denver Biscuit Company for breakfast - Amazing! I'd stay here again for sure.

We had a great weekend. Property was walking distance to activities and restaurants in Westport. Off-street parking was nice as the street is narrow, but not too busy. Extremely clean and very comfortable beds. We’d stay again.

Clean, modern great location

We were in KC for 4 nights to visit museums. The location of this home was within a 10-minute drive of the KC museums that we visited and a half-hour drive from the Truman Library. Plenty of restaurants and a grocery store were very close also. We highly recommend this property for location, cleanliness and modern updates.

Great for family

Our family was in town for a wedding and all stayed at this house. The area is being revitalized so there is a lot of construction and empty storefronts nearby. We walked to several restaurants and coffee places only a few blocks away. This area will really shine once all the construction and new stores are completed. Would stay here again!

Great house for family gathering

We enjoyed the layout of the house. The open floorplan was perfect for our group. We spent great family time playing games together. The owner had the house stocked nicely. The location was close enough to walk to some restaurants and bars. We were in town for a Cardinals/Royals game and it was an easy commute to the stadium.
