New for 2020: we have upgraded our WiFi speed to super-fast 600 mbps, and installed a whole-house, backup generator so that the house will never lose any power, even in the event of storm-related damage to the Cape electric grid.

We love Woods Hole and think you will too! It has a truly unique ambiance and mix of tranquility, as well as accessibility. Once you park (or arrive via express bus from Boston), you will find everything you need within a short walk. These are approximate walking distances: Stony Beach (2 minutes); Woods Hole park and playground (3 minutes); center of town and Aquarium (5 minutes); and Martha's Vineyard ferry, the start of the Shining Sea Bikeway , the shuttle to Falmouth Center, and the bus stop (7 minutes). Stony Beach is famous for its gentle slope to the warm Buzzards Bay waters, which is perfect for children, and adults, alike. We provide both adult and children's kayaks and a paddle board which can easily be carried for use off of the beach (with adult supervision of children). Families, in particular, will enjoy the easy access to the park, including play structure, swings, beach volleyball, tennis courts, and baseball diamond. At the Aquarium, guests can check out the sea lions and some of the work of the local marine biologists. In town, there are wonderful restaurants, including Captain Kidd, the Landfall, and Pie in the Sky (whose made-from-scratch bread pudding is out of this world!). Those who like to bicycle will be especially happy at our home, not only given the beauty of Woods Hole and surrounding areas, but also because it is the start of the 10-mile-long Shining Sea Bikeway, which passes along the ocean, cranberry bogs and beautiful salt sea ponds and marshes. Day trips to Martha's Vineyard are easy from Woods Hole, whether on foot or on bike. The ferry leaves regularly and only costs approximately $7 each way. Our home was newly-renovated and includes 600 mbps high speed internet, and 2 large screen televisions with hundreds of free channels, including HBO, and an abundance of free on-demand offerings. The home is complemented throughout with original artwork from artists featured in the French gallery, Carre d'artistes. The furnishings are all brand new and feature a large sectional sofa and dining room chairs, all upholstered in supple leather. One only has to look out the window or off the deck to take in the wildlife present in and around Mill Pond, a location popular with bird watchers. Enjoying the view is made easy by the comfortable deck dining table and adjacent gas grille.
